Printing support includes the ability to take screen contents and host transparent print streams and redirect them to AirPrint-compatible printers, or forward print data via email. Host transparent printing allows wireless printing to a local nearby printer without host reconfiguration as the iPad's location is changed. Options allow grouping of print or screen data into single or separate print jobs or emails.
The new ADDS Viewpoint VP/60 terminal emulation allows access to a large set of legacy systems previously without a mobile solution, including Pick, Unidata and Universe business and retail management systems.
Macro recording and playback allows the interaction between the user and the remote application to be recorded and later played back to automate the process. User name, password and other information can be stored seperately or prompted for so that configurations can be prebuilt without including sensitive information, and deployed to large user groups. An auto-connect option allows connecting immediately after the user starts TinyTERM Pro, and auto-login will execute any pre-defined macro.
Keyboard keys can be remapped using the onscreen user interface to an automated action, a macro, or a sequence of characters, allowing maxiumum flexibility for automating or customizing a process during host access.

"Before Real Studio could build web applications, I would have turned down these projects because I didn't have anyone on staff that had adequate PHP or JavaScript skills," added Keeney. "Now, with a little bit of training, my team can easily design, build, and maintain a web app without having to learn a new language and a new set of tools."
Previously Real Studio developers, including Keeney, predominantly worked on Windows-based projects, but with the rising demand in Mac sales there is now a very strong desire to be able to support Mac users. According to Infoworld, new data from IDC and Gartner shows that Mac sales are consistently outgrowing Windows sales in the United States. The lack of Mac support for alternative development tools is causing many companies to rethink their strategy.
According to Keeney, many of his clients have made the decision that sticking with Microsoft for another 10 years is not in their best interests. It means learning a new development environment (.NET) and still not being able to support the Mac. "The only other alternative is to have separate projects - one in .NET and one in xCode, and take their chances," Keeney added. "Most desire to have the same code base for both platforms and deal with the same developers for each one."
