iPhone model rocket fight shows hobbyists how easy it is to access to Bluetooth low energy on iOS Devices with TI's SensorTag and techBASIC. A small rocket was flown with the TI SensorTag secured in the payload bay while an iPhone running techBASIC was recording data safely on the ground. The second rocket flew with both the iPhone and the TI SensorTag on board. During the rocket flights the TI SensorTag recorded acceleration, rotation, and pressure data and passed the data to techBASIC.
Albuquerque, New Mexico - Byte Works, Inc., today announced the latest version of techBASIC was successful in capturing data and video from four iPhone model rocket flights using the new Bluetooth low energy SensorTag from Texas Instruments Incorporated.
"This was one small step by a geek, one giant leap forward for Bluetooth low energy," quipped Mike Westerfield, president of the Byte Works. "The iPhone rocket flight is just one example of how easy it is to write fun and cutting edge programs with the TI SensorTag and techBASIC. We are very excited to provide the program and the source code for the Rocket Data Collection app and the Rocket Data Analysis app so novice and experienced programmers will have a great example of how to quickly connect to Bluetooth low energy devices on iOS. We are also making the rocket plans and the data collected from our flights available to hobbyists and students so they can collect and analyze their own data."
Two separate rockets were built and flown to test the capabilities of Bluetooth low energy. Class Warfare is a combination First Person Shooter plus Whack-A-Mole, and Augmented Reality. It's a parody of the so-called "Class Warfare" that pits the One Percent against the working class.

As a One Percenter, users must respond to the angry mob of striking union workers, pregnant women, hungry citizens, and more! Class Warfare is a combination First Person Shooter (slingshotter, technically) plus Whack-A-Mole, and Augmented Reality (on camera equipped devices)!
It's a parody of the so-called "Class Warfare" that pits the One Percent against the working class. Whatever side you are on, you can enjoy the game that our so-called leaders play every day!
To appease each dependent, users must select the right tool to respond with. For example, when a striking worker appears, use the courts and throw the book (gavel) at them! For the poor guy in a barrel, throw money at the problem to spread the wealth around! Will work for food? Let them eat cake! Users can even offer an aspirin for a pregnant mom's healthcare needs! Users must choose wisely if the dependent is to be appeased. Choose incorrectly and the number of dependents will increase!
Left, right, center, it doesn't matter! Everyone can embrace the silly political arguments that each side makes and just enjoy the Class Warfare!
Finally, after six months of rejection, Apple finally approved Class Warfare, just one week before the election! Originally, funny quotes from famous politicians and pundits were spoken, such as these gems:

* "I'm not concerned about the poor" (Mitt Romney)
* "Back in my days, they used Bayer aspirin for contraception. The gals put it between their knees." (Foster Friess)
* "I will buy all of the women as much aspirin to put between their knees as they want." (Rush Limbaugh)
Those quotes had to be removed, and some of the language toned down, but the app is still fun and can be played by users on either side of the political spectrum. Whether users agree with the philosophy that aspirin is the answer to America's healthcare concerns, or that money can solve all problems, the one thing all Americans should agree upon is that Class Warfare is real and being waged every day. So vote early and vote often, and get Class Warfare, the app.

Meditation has Many effects that make us more harmonious people, as we start to feel better. And when we are harmonious, we are also more compassionate and open to things around us.

We get very positive response from our users, and a person who has downloaded the app wrote that she stays five minutes in the car every day and medi- tate before getting into the family. As a re-start after work, says Magnus.
During the past three months more than 350,000 meditations were completed through the apps and The Mindfulness app is one of the most downloaded health apps in Scandinavia. Mindapps is now releasing The Mindfulness App II, with ten new meditations, six guided and four silent, the ability to set your own length, and the option to set reminders in various ways. With these two apps in the mobile phone no one need to miss the opportunity to meditate.
As a part of our vision to change the world through meditation, we have translated the apps into English, French, German and Danish. During the autumn, they will be launched in Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and Norwegian says Magnus.
