Has anyone built their own Fusion drive on their Mac?
Awaiting a new SSD for this MBP 5,1 and thought I might attempt it.

I am plagued with script error messages. I have followed some "fixes" but still have not been able to eliminate them. They drag down my entire computer and its functioning.
I'm using a 24" Intel iMac, circa 2007, with OS X 10.6.8. I use Firefox 16.0.2 most of the time, and Safari 5.1.7.
I increased the integer value, as the Mozilla fix suggested.
I've tried to keep track of which websites seem to generate these error messages and have followed instructions on how to block scripts from those pages.
I am now going to try to zero in on the issue by starting Firefox in the Safe Mode. But I have a question. The directions say that once in Safe Mode, to "test for your problem."
How do I "test?" Is it just a question of waiting to see if the error messages continue to appear as I work?

I think the console report 'com.apple.launchd.peruser.502. indicates that it is trying to start something on behalf of a user with an UID of 502. Failure suggests the application in question does not exist.
You might get that user name by running 'id -u -n 502' and then look in System Preferences->Users & Groups to see if it's there. Under the Login Items tab perhaps there may be an application listed that has actually been deleted?
It might also be useful to run 'launchctl list' and look to see if there is anything like 'com.hyperwords.liquidwordsfree.loginitemhelper' in that (probably quite long) list.
'man launchctl' lists (at the end) the places where LaunchAgents and/or Daemons may be found. In addition to those you mention there are also System/Library/LaunchAgents and System/Library/LaunchDaemons. In particular, the former contains 'Mac OS X per-user agents'.
