My itouch has enough memory to put EVERYTHING (music, podcasts, videos) ( yeah, I paid for extra memory) on it. Can I use my itouch to put things in a new (empty) itunes on a new computer? If so, how? If not, darn!

There is s/w to copy content from iTouch to computer. Look around, it comes
in various flavors, price points, & capabilities/ease of use.
But -- where did the content come from in the first place and do you still
have those files?
If not -- when you do get it all on the new computer, be sure to Back It Up!
Don't count on the device being the only "backup".

Sounds like something went bad during the restore. I had this happen to my touch. There should be a way to get the ipod into recovery mode, so itunes can load its operating system, then reload the media.

I give up!!! I don't believe it. LOL. Today, I was prepared to do exactly as Ryan said. I brought up iTunes first, then plugged in the silly Classic. Guess what. iTunes totally recognized it. Gave it another iPod's name which I corrected. It then proceeded to download 1187 songs and 777 photos and is prepared to live happily ever after.
Yesterday, no matter what I did, iTunes would not recognize it. I know I properly ejected it from the Finder location. Unplugged it, and reconnected later. Still nothing. Now today, everything is fine. Go figure!.
I'm a 76 yr old female. Old ladies can get away with things like this.

This has worked for me using a Mac:
Connect your iPod and open iTunes (if it doesn't already auto-launch).
Go to the iPod's summary page and click on "put this iPod into drive mode", then click the "APPLY" button.
Now launch Disk Utility.
Find your iPod in the list of drives displayed on the left sidebar. Click on it and select "Verify" from the list of options. Disk Utility will generate a log indicating the status of each diagnostic protocol it executes and will alert you to any problems.
If any problems are found, click on "Repair" from the list of options. When the repair process successfully concludes, repeat the "Verify" process.
If no further errors/problems are found, eject your iPod and try it in iTunes again.

That's what I think -- sometimes these gadgets just need a little rest &
loving extra attention.
A regular "good job" & pat on the head never hurts. Who wants to be taken
for granted?!

Just got a new iPad mini 4g. Old lady has arthritic fingers and does not like to work the screen with my hands. I've been using Pogo Sketch stylus on my Touches and iPads, They work great on them but not on the Mini. Seems like they don't touch a large enough area.
Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks!
I've bought 10-12 of these so far. My wife and I are still using the
original two I bought for us about six months ago. The others have been
purchased for family and coworkers who, upon trying ours out, are instantly
taken with the difference.
