The Colorblind Corrector offers sufferers of colorblindness the ability to distinguish between colors that they are typically unable to differentiate due to their condition. The app works by isolating specific colors within the normal visual spectrum. The user simply opens the app on their device; peers through the camera, live, and sees the world in all its color corrected beauty.
Sherman Oaks, California - Peow! Peow! Studios today launched The Colorblind Corrector, an iPhone app that offers sufferers of colorblindness the ability to distinguish between colors that they are typically unable to differentiate due to their condition.
Peow! Peow! Studios' The Colorblind Corrector app works by isolating specific colors within the normal visual spectrum. By boosting specific colors and suppressing others, sufferers of the most common forms of colorblindness will finally be able to distinguish between colors that are normally affected by their condition. The user simply installs the application on their iPhone (iPad and Android coming soon) and opens it on their device; the user will now be able to peer through the camera, live, and see the world in all its color corrected beauty.
During development, Peow! Peow! Studios tested 17 diagnosed colorblind individuals from all over the world and every one of the test subjects reported 100% improvements in color perception. Using the standard Ishihara Color Test Plates (a series of colored dot patterns depicting numbers and patterns), users reported that after viewing through the app they were now able to see all plate patterns with the same results as a fully color sighted person.
"The Colorblind Corrector has made a huge difference in my personal and professional life," said Edward Shiers, Peow! Peow! Studios, partner. "If I am having trouble with a graphic work - I just open the app and view it through my iPhone. It acts as a sort of "white balance" for my eyes and allows me to adjust for any color inconsistencies. For a color-sighted person it will be difficult to fully grasp the significance of such a specific vision corrector, but for myself and other colorblind people, this app has the potential to make a huge difference."
Colorblindness is the inability or decreased ability to see or perceive color differences. It is an affliction that affects between 10% and 15% of the population with the vast majority of sufferers being male.

Just like other weather apps, Effing Weather provides the current temperature, current conditions, the expected high and low temperatures for the day, and the 3 day forecast. These are the key elements that are displayed right when you launch the app. What sets Effing Weather apart though is its humor. The user will also see an Effing description of the weather based on the current temperature. Vigilante: Speak for the Dead is a free to play massively multiplayer blend of Strategy, RPG, and Text Adventure genres that sets out to tackle the polarizing subject of vigilante justice and test the morality of game players in the process.
Vigilante: Speak for the Dead is set in a world where the justice system has failed and warring vigilante groups have spread out of control, each with their own definition of justice, and their own method of enforcement. Conceived as a social experiment designed to explore the natural conflict that arises when one group�s idea of justice is another group�s idea of crime, Vigilante features complex social dynamics where cooperative and competitive interactions between players account for much of the gameplay experience.
After an initial soft release on iPhone in Australia and New Zealand, Vigilante quickly built up a very loyal player base that launched the game into the App Store top 5 in both RPG and Strategy categories, unique for an independently developed game. The game was developed with the assistance of Film Victoria and stands as the first time independent game developers and independent filmmakers have teamed up to produce a film and a video game in tandem, each with the goal of telling a different part of the story. The film John Doe, starring Jamie Bamber, is scheduled for release this year.
Divisive Media CEO Chris Ferriter commented �We wanted to create a unique game that evolved the social RPG genre� something that really challenged players to create strong social bonds within the game and utilize strategy and cooperation to defeat their opponents. I believe players will be surprised by the depth of strategy within the game.�
Vigilante: Speak for the Dead was designed to be a very accessible game, but holds deep and nuanced strategies for more experienced players. Arrange your equipment and vehicles to target the stat weaknesses of higher level players. Schedule encounters to target crews outside of their time zone. Use your investigation points to tip the scales in your favor. Send your crew members to the defence of your enemies, only to un-equip all their items at the last minute. Send players to opposing crews as undercover agents. Strategically stack encounters against opponents to devastating effect. Target players from specific locations in order to increase your dominance in those areas. The rules and tactics are influenced by the player-defined culture in the game.
The iPad, iPhone, and all future platforms act as portals into the same game world, so you can take advantage of the high definition iPad layout at home and then continue your game on the go using your iPhone. Vigilante utilizes Facebook social connectivity to detect your Facebook friends and prioritize their actions within the game, without ever revealing their true identity. Use crew chat and private messaging to coordinate strategies with other players, negotiate truces, and navigate the in-game politics.

Air Wings Intergalactic is a 3D, multiplayer, flying game where you pilot various types of spacecraft, and fire an assortment of futuristic weapons while battling other online opponents from around the world. The game is a giant, fast-paced, multiplayer battle with all of the raw fun-factor that makes multiplayer gaming such a blast. There are seven different types of spaceships, thirteen unique battle levels, and six different weapons to choose from ranging from Laser Beams to Magnet Mines to the Blaster. Players can collect Bonus Crates to increase their ship�s capabilities, and they can compete for supremacy on the Game Center leaderboards.
�The original Air Wings game was released almost exactly one year ago, and it quickly became our most popular game ever in the 25 year history of the company,� says Brian Greenstone, President of Pangea Software, �Air Wings was a huge success, and our fans kept begging us for more, so we came up with Air Wings Intergalactic which is simply awesome! Air Wings Intergalactic is a free game to download, and players have unlimited access to four levels and one ship. If they want more, the game has in-app upgrades that activate new ships and levels. There are three different Ship Pack upgrades, each containing two new ships. The ships range from the Hovercraft to a retro-style �Starfire� to the intimidating �Shedder�. There are also three Level Pack upgrades, each of which contain three new levels. The Ice Planet, Forest Planet, and Mars all have unique level layouts that combine with the four free Moon levels to give the player an incredible variety of environments to explore. The Ship Pack and Level Pack upgrades are just $0.99 USD each.

Jump Rampage is a story about what happens when an alien meets evil rabbits, and makes them angry. You are in control of a very jumpy alien. Standing ruthlessly in his way are matrix-like evil rabbits. You must jump rapidly, use jetpacks, grab coins, and steal red power shoes, or it's all over. Players can submit scores to Facebook with Game Center global leaderboard and achievements.

Jump Rampage is a story about what happens when an alien meets evil rabbits - and makes them angry. You are in control of a very jumpy alien who immediately faces trouble from all sides. Standing ruthlessly in his way are matrix-like evil rabbits, who dress in pink with tasteless sunglasses. These things are mean and they pack a punch, and must be avoided at all costs!
You must jump rapidly, use jetpacks, grab coins, and steal red power shoes, or it's all over. And here's a little secret - don't ever run into an evil rabbit without a good shield! Beware at all times: Jump Rampage is an iPhone experience that facilitates jump-based, coin-powered, Alien-To-Rabbit fight situations.
