Simply put, there's something for everyone in Apocalypse Knights. The game is built on action but powered by high level strategic thinking. the year is 2050, and a much maligned demon invasion has left the Earth in shambles - it stands teetering on the brink of the apocalypse. This is where the gamer comes in. Not content to see the world destroyed, players can go to war in a bid to kill every demon inhabiting Earth and can do so via one of two unique gameplay modes - Classic Arcade & Zombie Rush. Players are accompanied by a deadly A.I. mercenary sidekick throughout the game and can easily turn Apocalypse Knights into a social gaming adventure too. All they need to do is invite friends to battle alongside them as their mercenary sidekicks via Game Center and get to it!

Apocalypse Knights includes ten sequentially more challenging difficulty levels. Each level in turn contains 60 ever more intense waves of demons that players must battle, and to keep things fresh the scene of battle is changed up after every ten waves! In an innovative twist players not only have to battle until achieving victory but are challenged to do so accurately enough to avoid joining the demon's dark side as they play and rack up as much combo-based points as they can. Earned points can be traded in for various character upgrades ranging from horse and personal armor, to more powerful melee weapons, and much more! Though players start out as simple rookie knights, they'll have the chance to upgrade everything from horses to weapons en route to saving the world and finding a uniquely engaging distraction from their everyday lives!
