While requiring a significant investment of time, the Inventory allows users to analyze their reactions to: People, Institutions and Organizations; Principles, Ideals and Beliefs; Sources of Anxiety and Excitement; Fears; and Sex Relations. Originally designed for persons participating in 12-Step programs, it has since been discovered that a Moral Inventory can help anyone analyze their life to learn more about themselves than ever imagined possible ... and at only a small fraction the cost of a single visit to a therapist. Version 2.1 provides substantially faster access when moving between editing and reviewing individual incidents in addition to allowing
for easy corrections of Entity and Incident names while reviewing Incidents.

The process of completing a Life Inventory does not directly address anyone's specific problems or addictions, but rather helps the user examine in detail events that have transpired in their life. The Life Inventory app gently assists the user in probing into not only what happened, but also why it happened. The questions asked help the user delve into areas often never considered before, like:

* What did I want?
* Why did I want it?
* What am I not admitting?
* What lie did I tell myself?
* What did I leave out or not say?
* What lie did I tell others?
* Have I ever done the same thing?
* Was it any of my business?
* Were my expectations reasonable?
* What was the real truth?
* What was I not seeing?
* Did I fail to see the facts of the situation?
* What actions did I take to get what I wanted?
* What actions did I omit to get what I wanted?

Life Inventory for iPad guides the user through six different steps, each with its own activity grouping, for making a Life Inventory in writing:

* Build Lists
* Causes and Effects
* My Part
* Fears Analysis
* Fear Questions
* Sex Relations

Throughout the process, users are encouraged to write out their Inventory, be completely honest about themselves and take advantage of encouragement and support.

The Inventory begins by making one simple list, which defines four fixed Categories in which to file away what are broadly categorized as Incidents:

* People
* Institutions and Organizations
* Principles, Ideals and Beliefs
* Sources of Anxiety and Excitement

Each of the four Categories will contain hierarchical sub-categories. From there, users outline Entities and then individual Incidents.

Step-by-step, users complete the Causes and Effects of each Incident. Next, users determine the part they played in each Incident listed. It is not unusual to create hundreds of Incident forms, each devoted to a single incident. The app includes the ability to create and save all written lists and forms with password protection. Having completed all their Incident forms, users can refer to these forms to help list all their Fears. The app includes the following eight pre-defined fears, to which the user is free to add:

* Other people's opinions
* Not getting what I want
* Not having control of the situation
* Financial insecurity
* Abandonment
* Physical harm
* Failure
* Success

The fifth step is examining each Fear category and answering the following key questions:

* Why did I have this fear?
* When did I first notice this fear in my life?
* How did I hold on to this fear?
* What did this fear make me do?
* What chain of circumstances did this fear set in motion in my life?
* How did I react to this fear?
* What decision did this fear cause me to make?
* How did self-reliance fail me?
* What should I have done instead?

And the sixth and final step is examining Sex Relations, where users answer all the following questions regarding each of their sexual relationships:

* How was I selfish?
* Where was I dishonest?
* Where was I inconsiderate?
* Who was hurt in this situation?
* Did I arouse jealousy, suspicion, or bitterness?
* Where was I at fault?
* What should I have done instead?
* What will I do in the future?
* Did I pray or have spiritual conversations with him/her?
* Did I pray for him/her?
* Did I enjoy his/her company?
* Did we bring each other closer to God?

Thursby Software Systems today announced that its free PKard Reader app for secure web browsing has been awarded FIPS 140-2 validation. The PKard solution lets people access web portals, collaboration sites and email directly from their iPads and iPhones with secure authentication to their personal smart cards. It's a combination of a plug-in card reader and a free app leveraging two-factor authentication. PKard Reader is the first iPad/iPhone browser to earn this important industry distinction.

Arlington, Texas - Thursby Software Systems, the leading provider of security, management and integration solutions for Apple Mac, iPad and iPhone devices, today announced that its free PKard(R) Reader app for secure web browsing has been awarded the Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) 140-2 validation from the Cryptographic Module Validation Program, a joint effort between the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the Communications Security Establishment (CSE) of the Government of Canada. PKard Reader is the first iPad/iPhone browser to earn this important industry distinction.

Thursby's PKard Reader solution lets people securely access web-based email, portals and collaboration sites using U.S. Government issued CAC, PIV or other approved smart cards and approved readers such as Thursby's own $149.99 hardware, the most widely deployed solution for iPad/iPhone smart card Identity, Credentials and Access Management (ICAM). The app is plug'n'play, requiring no proprietary new server or cloud software, or payment of ongoing fees. The "Miltary CAC" web site, the leading source of CAC-related information for military personnel, sums up its appeal as "the only product that enables use of CAC cards with iPhone and iPad that is easy to use and affordable."

Paul Nelson, Thursby's Chief Technical Officer (CTO), explains, "validation is a requirement for government customers but from an enterprise security perspective, the most important considerations are (a) that the cryptos in the app are validated end-to-end, from handling of certificates, to establishment of trust, to the securing of data, and (b) that these capabilities, along with validation, can be extended to third party apps via our upcoming Software Development Kit (SDK)." Apple's built-in browser, email and VPN software are not FIPS 140-2 validated, do not work with smart cards, or card reader accessories.

It is now possible to create videos like the famous "Drink Coca-Cola" and "Eat Popcorn" controversial subliminal advertising (in 1957 by James M. Vicary). More recently, the movie Fight Club also used subliminal flashes to insert hidden pictures of Tyler Durden at different points in the movie.

Add a unique look to your videos, changing multiple frames to create a specific effect (add color to some images, zoom on a part of the images, change the image, display custom text, and more.)

AngryOrange Studios has announced Glow Worm 1.0 for iOS, their new Sim/Arcade Game that challenges the player to capture and skillfully transport bacteria scattered inside a living cell. The goal is to save as many bacteria as possible using the Glow Worm, a neutrophil-like body, which captures each bacterium using a single filament. Once attached, the filaments slowly retract, while the player navigates the Glow Worm back to the safety of its spawning point with bacteria in tow.

Warsaw, Poland - AngryOrange Studios has announced Glow Worm 1.0.2 for iOS, their new Sim/Arcade Game that challenges the player to capture and skillfully transport 10 or more bacteria scattered inside a living cell. The goal is to save as many bacteria as possible using the Glow Worm, a neutrophil-like body, which automatically captures each nearby bacterium using a single filament. Once the microbes are attached, the filaments slowly retract while the player navigates the Glow Worm back to the safety of its spawning point with bacteria in tow. The player must successfully navigate their way back through various lethal obstacles, including oddly shaped micro-spaces, viruses, red cells, and rotating X cells. Once touch-activated, the Glow Worm begins to lose power, which forces the player to work as quickly as possible before the Glow Worm can no longer function.

Featuring a remarkable physics engine, Glow Worm delivers an eerily realistic simulation of conditions inside a cell, similar to sims set underwater. The intracellular fluid, the medium in which everything inside the cell exists, has a viscosity greater than water, making navigation especially challenging. Transporting large numbers of bacteria at a time improves efficiency, but heightens difficulty. In addition, the longer the filament, the harder it is to pull the bacteria through obstacles safely. Each filament begins to retract, ingesting the microbe, as soon as it captures a bacterium, but the filaments retract slowly. This creates a strategic problem of safety versus time.

Maneuvering inside a cell containing moving bodies is more difficult than it first appears, and the player quickly develops of feeling for how each small tethered bacteria will react to being pulled at a particular speed and in a specific direction. At each level of play there are a minimum number of bacteria that must be saved, successfully retrieved back into the Glow Worm's vacuole, to complete the level and move forward. Completion of each level usually involves several round trips, where the captured bacteria are deposited and the Glow Worm quickly moves back into the cell to save more bacteria.

Sydney, Australia - Topten Software today launched its first iOS app called MiniComp. MiniComp lets anyone with an iOS device manage a competition between a group of friends. It works for most games and sports and could be used for example to track a work table tennis competition, a weekly snooker game or a family air-hockey championship.

"The idea came about when my teenage son was looking for a way to run a competition with his school mates for their weekly school sport" said MiniComp's developer Brad Robinson. "By using his iPod touch and entering the scores as each game is played, he can immediately see who's leading the competition and review the stats for each player".

MiniComp has a few different ways to rank players and can calculate player statistics such as averages, highest scores and longest winning and losing streaks. Competitions can be published to the MiniComp website so everyone in the group can see where they stand and because there's no account registration required, setting up a publicly viewable leaderboard is as simple as a tapping the Publish button. There's also built-in support for sharing published competitions on Twitter, Facebook or by Email.

"With MiniComp, anyone can setup a competition and publish the results within a few minutes. It adds a new layer of fun to the games and sports that many of us already play" added Brad Robinson.
