CloudDav adds a WebDav protocol adaptor so users can directly edit and interact with them using Apps that provide support for WebDav, such as iWork, DropBox, BaseCamp, and more.

London, United Kingdom - Vehera LTD, who trade as SMEStorage, today announced that over 50,000 users are now using their CloudDav feature, which adds WebDav over any storage Cloud, to edit documents on the iPad and iPhone from iWork and other WebDav ready document editing Apps.

CEO Ian Osborne said, "Many iOS Apps may not directly support Storage Clouds such DropBox, BaseCamp, Amazon S3, Google Drive, SkyDrive, RackSpace etc, but do provide support for WebDav access. Apple's own iWork App which encompasses Pages, Numbers and Keynote is classic example of this."

The partnership with HKS, premier manufacturer and supplier of automotive performance systems, marks the introduction of an officially licensed 'upgrade pack' for the iBoost App, enabling users to add replica HKS DB Meters RS gauges and SQV sounds to their car. For the first time, motoring fans can experience the feeling of driving with HKS gear, using just their phones and iBoost. Bonobo believe the collaboration will take the authenticity and appeal of the app to a whole new level.

"Working with HKS has been a blast, "says Nathan Hamey, lead designer on iBoost. "The partnership has given us pit-lane access to extract the best sounds possible from their SQV. We've also painstakingly crafted their boost gauges to look and respond just like the real thing. I think people are going to get a real buzz out of seeing and hearing authentic HKS gear in their car."

iBoost simulates owning a turbo by using the phone's sensors to detect the movement and acceleration of a car. Users can select from multiple gauges within the app that respond to driving in real time, and choose from a number of different blow off sounds sampled from real turbocharged engines. Every time the driver shifts gears, the app responds by playing turbo sounds through the speakers, helping give the illusion of driving a real turbo car.

Starting today, iBoost users can add unique HKS sounds and gauges to their cars by purchasing the optional HKS upgrade pack from within the app.

Alameda, California- Karelia Software today released Sandvox 2.6, adding a new "Extract Content of Website" feature and Japanese localization to its award-winning website building software for the Mac.

Sandvox 2.6 introduces a new Extract feature that brings text and graphic content from previously published websites, such as those produced using iWeb, into a new Sandvox document. Using Extract is simple: enter the previously published website's URL and Sandvox will automatically examine the website, analyze the main content, and create corresponding pages in a new Sandvox site document suitable for continued development and publishing to a new webhost. In addition to the new Extract feature, the Sandvox 2.6 update adds Japanese localization.

"Our goal is to save our customers time and effort on what would otherwise be a fairly tedious, manual process of copying and pasting to bring over content from a previously published website," explained Dan Wood, president of Karelia Software. "Nowhere is this more true than with old iWeb sites. Due to iWeb's proprietary themes and unique page layout structure, there is really no way to precisely and directly import an iWeb site into Sandvox. The conversion of FileMaker 12 layouts into PHP web application forms supports the Classic theme. FileMaker layouts using other themes can also be converted, but will be displayed within the web application using the Classic theme.

The display of the navigation toolbar in foundset mode has been enhanced to include the total number of records, using the format: 1 /2 (5). Where (5) represents the total number of records in the database model. This change makes it more visually evident that the user is in foundset mode.

A new Fix Duplicate Columns feature is now available under the File menu. This feature shortens long field names in a manner which prevents duplicates. This feature is most useful for database servers such as Oracle, DB2 and Sybase which impose a 30 character limit upon column names. But it can be used for any database server having a shorter column name limit compared to FileMaker Pro.

This program allows you to estimate a real cost of the loan (so-called effective annual percentage rate). It is similar to standard APR (annual percentage rate), takes into account different commissions, but calculates the rate on the compounded annual basis. The current version of iCreditRate has an original interface and allows to estimate rates both for generic loans and microloans (micro finance loans for a very short-term). The program is designed for loans with fixed-size payments.

As you know, it is very difficult to estimate the real cost of the loan and to compare loans with different parameters (terms are not equal or there are a lot of additional commissions). The program iCreditRate helps to provide the universal measure for different loans: the effective annual percentage rate. This rate may be easily calculated using the function XIRR in the Excel. But it is not a good idea to carry the notebook each time you go to a bank and to fill in electronic workbooks with the parameters of the loan. iCreditRate is a simple instrument that you can buy and install on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch and use it wherever you want.

Of course, this program has some restrictions. First of all, it can estimate the effective rate only for loans with the fixed-size monthly (for generic loans) or weekly (for microloans) payments. Also for micro loans it is possible to estimate the effective rate based on the final one-time payment at the end of the loan. The second important moment is that the main function of iCreditRate is to estimate the effective rate of the loan and not to generate the payments schedule or to make a reminders for the approaching payments.

The main value of iCreditRate is the ability to compound commissions into the result, because such commissions often generate a substantial addition to the real cost of the loan. Of course, there is another well-known approach for such estimations. It is a so-called APR (annual percentage rate). The main difference between the APR and the effective rate is that the effective rate is calculated on a yearly compounded basis. It is not a very substantial distinction between these two approaches and, if commissions are combined into the APR calculations, you may use the APR value to estimate and compare loans. But the compounded rate is more closer to the real cost of money. If you would like to compare different loans, you may use either APR (from other calculators) or the effective rate from iCreditRate. Don't compare loans both on APR or the effective rate basis because it has no sense.

Lets look at the example: The bank have sent you an offer: very advantageous loan, the rate is 18.16% per year, the total amount is 100 000 USD, loan's term is 2 years, the monthly payment is only 5 000 USD. The one-time fee is 5 000 USD and the monthly commission is 1 000 USD.

Fill in all application fields and press "Calculate". You can see that a real loan rate is 53.49% per year. Maybe it is better to look for a more friendly loan?

iCreditRate will help you to clarify any complications linked to the loans. Thus you could feel yourself more comfortable with your bank, because you will know how much really you pay or will pay for the loan. And finally it helps you to make more reasonable decisions.

Featuring patent-pending search algorithms/GUI, eventsions allows users to select as many of the 27 built-in categories of interest as they like, and the app will instantly display matching icons on a Google Map covering any size area in the U.S. This major update includes advanced search features and allows users to automatically incorporate their Facebook likes and interests into in the their search results.

Whether home or traveling, we are often at a loss when it comes to occupying our free time. With eventsions, event finding is a fun, discovery process. Touch an electric guitar icon and the name, address, and start time of that musical event pops up in a translucent window. Touch its blue button for More Details and a full description of the concert appears on its own page. Tap the Share button to share the event details via email or Twitter, or touch the Calendar button to instantly add the event reminder to your iPhone's calendar. Red and green buttons allow users to mark the event as a Dislike or Like, and complete directions or a map view are a touch away. Selecting the venue opens its listing in Google without leaving the app.

When it comes to finding something to do over the weekend or anytime, local newspapers are the usual, if somewhat laborious, option. Searching online, the largest web service dedicated to helping users find, track, and share information about events is Eventful. eventsions provides its search results through Eventful and other online event sites, where the app has direct access to the constantly updated databases of these services.

At launch in portrait orientation, eventsions defaults to the user's current location in a map view. The user has a choice of four different filters, which will determine the events displayed on their local Google Map. The four filters include: 27 Built-In Categories, Location, Date, and Facebook. The filters determine the icons on the map, displaying only those events that meet the criteria of all four filters. Generally, users will find themselves changing only the Date filter, as other criteria usually remain the same.

The Date filter offers three choices: Today, Tomorrow, or This Weekend. Alternatively, users may enter the Start Date and End Date manually. The Date filter has a toggle that allows the exclusion or inclusion of recurring events. Similarly, the Location filter has a toggle that allows the use of either the current location or a manually entered location. The Facebook filter includes an on/off switch that permits keywords from the Likes on their Facebook page to be included in the event search. A toggle allows Facebook generated results to be shown exclusively or in addition to any of the 27 built-in Categories.

The Categories filter can be displayed as text or icons, and allows users to check off some or all of the following: Animal Events, Art Events, Attractions, Literary Events, Business Events, Clubs & Associations, Civic Events, Concerts & Bands, Conferences, Family Fun, Festivals and Parades, Food Events, Fundraisers, Learning & Education, Movies & Film, Other Events, Outdoor Recreation, Performing Arts, Politics & Activism, Religion & Spirituality, Sales Events, Schools & Alumni, Science Events, Social & Single, Sporting Events, Self-Improvement, and Technology Events.

Camouflage can be easily accessed via the desktop menu bar. Simply click the Camouflage icon and select Hide Icons. All document icons, files, folders, external drives, and other items on the desktop will be hidden from view. The desktop retains the user-selected wallpaper as well as all computer functionality. When users would like to make the desktop items visible again, they select Show Icons from Camouflage in the menu bar. All desktop icons instantly reappear.

While Camouflage is designed to hide the clutter on a desktop, it also provides a new workflow to help in accessing files on the desktop. By double-clicking the desktop, a Finder window appears, showing all of the desktop files hidden or visible. The user may put the Finder Window in List View to provide an easy and uncluttered look at all the current desktop files.

Camouflage provides the ability to set the application to the user's preferences. Users may customize the Finder Window access, allowing them to choose to open with a single or double click. Users may also create a HotKey to instantly hide or unhide icons. In addition, Camouflage allows the user utilize their current wallpaper or to select a custom wallpaper that will be displayed whenever desktop icons are hidden, providing extra security from an unwanted audience.
