I don't see an "OSX Snow Lion" any time soon though, based on the image

Oh a wise guy!

For all you carpenters or framers on the list, I see a nail standing proud.

I suggested getting a replacement from Amazon. I can't find an Amazon in
Hungary so I thought amazon.de (Germany) would deliver to you.

Yes, there's a circuit that controls charging but I think you have a bad
cable or connection. What happens if you waggle the cable at each end?

Yeah, nothing like electrical fires from continuing to use faulty electronics, especially to charge or overcharge Li-ion batteries.

Thank you for the answer. Sure enough, there it was at the root level. It's annoying that Spotlight didn't find it.

I used it on two Excel lists. I had to save them as .csv to use them, but it did a nice and easy job of identifying the differences between the two lists.

The only problem was that I was unable to find a way to generate a list of only the added items in the longer list. I could get a merged file, but not a single file containing only the differences. Did you figure out how to do that?

Mt Lion to have both save and "save as"

According to a Macworld preview, Mountain Lion will have both save and "save as" in addition to duplicate. It sounds like Apple is listening to its customers. See this link, near the bottom:

I'm sure many are glad to hear that, but you had to bring up that subject again...

Howdy.

But the question was . . . do you use the Preview application to read
these books? Instead of using the iBooks application.

Dan,

to my knowledge, there is no iBooks for Mac. I wish there was. I bought an e-book from Apple to read on my iPhone. I never finished it because it is such a pain to read on an iPhone and it is not in a format that I can read on my Mac.

Howdy.

Harry, thanks for the Calibre positive comments.

I came across Calibre recently and will be trying it as I got more and
more into reading on the new iPad.

BTW. There is a place in iTunes where you can see that an eBook you
buy has DRM. The term you see is "protected." Sounds too much like
safe sex.

Howdy.

It's possible the the Emoji font was included in Mac OS X 10.7 Lion but
not in earlier versions of Mac OS X.

Howdy.

Since the Emoji emoticons are, I think, a font, they ought to come
through if the Emoji font is installed on the destination computer.

Some might come through if an emoticon font is installed and active.

The GyazMail program that I use can not compose mail in HTML but can
display incoming mail with HTML items just fine. So I don't now if
that outgoing inability would impact the Emoji font items I tried as
samples.
