Washington based Unmarked Software today announces TextSoap 7.3, an update to its award-winning text processing and editing utility for OS X. TextSoap effortlessly processes text from endlessly different formats. Use it to clean up garbled text in your favorite app that supports OS X Services or AppleScript. The update brings support for silent launching with Services and AppleScript, Hi-res image support for retina displays, Gatekeeper support as well as numerous fixes.
Vancouver, Washington - Unmarked Software today is proud to announce the release and immediate availability of TextSoap(R) 7.3, an update to its award-winning text processing and editing utility for OS X. The TextSoap 7.3 update brings "silent launching" support through a new helper agent. When customers use OS X Services or script the agent, the TextSoap app is launched in the background without a user interface and performs the requested task.
The update also splits out the "Universal Menu" feature into a new, separate app, "TextSoap Menu." Mac App Store users can download this through the Mac App Store. TextSoap Menu is bundled with TextSoap for direct download users. Hi-resolution images bring support for MacBook Pro with retina displays and TextSoap is signed to support OS X Mountain Lion's Gatekeeper.
TextSoap 7.3 includes other refinements and fixes for reported issues to this award-winning text processing utility. More detailed information on all the changes in TextSoap 7.3 are available in the release notes.
The TextSoap 7.3 update is free of charge to all TextSoap 7 customers. Customers who purchased in the Mac App Store will automatically receive the update when it becomes available, while customers who purchased directly may download the update immediately from the Unmarked Software web site.

Players can play two different levels, making 3 letter words, using the vowel "a", or spelling the spoken three letter words. Safari Animal stickers, with sounds, are awarded for every five correct words and then the kids can play with their animals in a safari setting.
Virginia Beach, Virginia - ZiggityZoom just announced the release of a new educational iOS game app WORD Cat for the iPhone and iPad. Verbal encouragements are spoken by the Cat as kids progress in the game.
WORD Cat is one of 5 apps in the Word Animals suite of apps. Each app in the suite will address three letter words using a different vowel. WORD Pig, with letter "i", is already available in the app store. "These apps are perfect for helping kids with word recognition and formation and to practice spelling for beginning readers. It's an app suited to the preschool classroom or for use at home," said Kristin Fitch, CEO of ZiggityZoom. WORD Cat is suited to children with Special Needs, as they only need to select a beginning and ending letter to make words.
Additional apps are in the pipeline for ZiggityZoom, including children's book apps and educational apps. Previously released apps are WORD Pig and the award-winning Feed the Monster game.
