I love it. I watch a lot of TV and have Comcast, we subscribe to all the channels. Even with that I buy season tickets from iTunes Store, regular TV shows like The Good Wife and NCIS. I do because they are commercial free and I can go back years later and watch them again. I've been going to sleep watching Law and Order from season 1. I've forgotten all of the shows so they are new to me again. :).
I like getting a season at a time for binge watching. See this is what happens the older you get.

My son wants to put his DVDs on hard drive so he can just use Apple TV to watch them. We can't decide between HAND BRAKE and COPY DVD 123. Any opinions would be most welcome.
Also, we have Apple TV and love it. A day doesn't pass that we don't use it.
Thank you very much.

Handbrake is my vote. I use it and love it. Easy to use and has presets for Apple TV built in.

Yes, Handbrake works fine for me. If you want to watch a movie on your cellphone, check the box, iPod 5G support. Other than that box, I usually leave the settings alone when I rip. You may want to read further about settings though for TV resolution.

Yes, Handbrake is pretty much the default app for this.

Heres one that has worked for me. If you have Toast there is an eject command in it. Do we know that the disc is not physically stuck? Does the OP hear something trying to happen? If so then it is an otherwise hued equine, and possibly jiggling it with something stiff and flat, such as a thin knife or small spatula might work.

Any one have any Idea's how or why my Macbooks won't charge? I have new battery one see's it when I put it in, but it says charging but never does, and the other machine don't even reconize it? Help not a good protable machine if I can't get them to run on battery. The one that does reconize it won't work with out the battery. But I can't figure out how to charge it to make this a protable machine? Any help would be great!
Thanks in advance,
John

Give us some more info.
What year is the MacBook? What OS version? How old is the battery?
What does System Profiler or System Information say about the battery? Particularly, cycle count and full charge capacity.

I think you found your problem. Either your power adapter is dying or it is not plugged into a good outlet.
How many charge cycles does your battery have? It looks like the charge is low, but then if the adapter is failing, that is why. The charge capacity appears to have dropped a little. Without knowing how many cycles it's been through, I would have to guess that is correct, from the age of the MacBook.

Good info.
I thought that iCab was a browser for legacy OS X versions only and didn't
realise that it is still being developed. I have just installed it to try
