Yes, Doyle I have done that but have seen no change. I have also gone through almost 3 loops of memory testing using Rember, and no problems were found. When I'm not going to be using the computer for a while I'll run Rember for a longer period and see if anything turns up.
Thanks,

If it worked before two days ago, then you have installed something that is conflicting, or you have removed a file or files that are needed by the App. Perhaps use an App trasher (AppZapper) to remove the App completely and reinstall the App.

You might try reinstalling Reunion, or at least running the latest updater. (Also, you don't mention it so I assume you don't have Disk Warrior?)

I have the latest Reunion updater installed, David. I do have Disk Warrior, but the most recent version I have won't start up this iMac, which is newer than my last Mac. Per the Alsoft site, I must buy the update DVD for Disk Warrior v4.4. I just ordered it but it's probably a week from getting here. I may end up doing a re-install, but I'll wait until I hear from Leister Product Support.
Thanks,

Since you need a later version of DiskWarrior, it's a moot point, but you can also run it by booting from a clone of your drive (or just another bootable drive) that has DiskWarrior installed on it. I find it much faster to do that anyway.
As for reinstalling Reunion, I don't think it would harm anything to try it, but if you have time, waiting to hear from Leister is probably best.

I am replacing the HD in my mid 2007 iMac 24" computer, since it shot craps after 5 1/2 years. Have purchased a new 500 GB HD from OWC and am studying their tutorials. I don't consider it that difficult to accomplish if I take my time and do it correctly. Any pointers from those of you who have done this will be much appreciated....
Also, my brief research so far shows I will need to install the original OSX system followed by the Snow Leopard version first. I then need to download and install Mt Lion from the App Store. Is this correct?
Any information from those "in the know" on this topic will be greatly appreciated.

The quickest and easiest method is to clone the current drive (or a recent
clone of it) to the new one using Disk Utility, Carbon Copy Cloner, or
Super Duper. Is the current drive actually broken or just showing signs of
failing?
If you don't have a clone, I'd start keeping one as soon as you can.

No iMac experience, but...
If you *saved* the Mountain Lion Installer file (3.7 GB or so) from an earlier installation -- say on an external drive, or a flash drive -- you can upgrade more directly.
In fact, there are directions out there for making a Mountain Lion Installer flash drive from the downloaded installer file. With that, you could install from scratch.

Guys:
I've got one of those old G3 units a "Wall Street" model, sitting in my office storage cabinets. Anyone interested in it drop me a note - it still runs - or did last time I checked a year or so ago.

Can someone confirm that the settings for the free Yahoo account (not "Plus accounts) POP server is:

I don't seem able to download e-mail from my account to Apple Mail.

Apparently you cannot use POP3 with the free Yahoo email account:

Port 465 is the port for sending via SMTP. 995 is the secure POP3 port

I thought Yahoo policy had changed and I hoped that the page you reference (and others I've seen) are out-of-date.
I saw this and it unambiguously shows servers for both the free POP mail service and the Plus POP mail service:

I have read the Help column in Mail and still can not figure out how to make a group email. Can some one help me please, I have Mac with 10.7.5 software and using Mail version 5.3
The help menu tells me to view the contact card and group and drag the contact card to the new group. i tried this -- I could drag the card but could not place it into the group file.
Any ideas
Thanks
Tina
