This innovative game is set to shake things up in the App Store with never-before-seen pets, gameplay and player modes. Players raise hilarious pet monsters, called Peaves, from larvae to well-trained adults with incredible powers. When two or more players have their monsters in close proximity, shaking their devices will unlock a truly unique, one-of-a-kind battle mode.
"Our goal was to create an immersive experience that is personal, customizable and fun for players of all ages," said Brian Lovell, CEO of RED Interactive Agency. There are 12 species of Peaves in the game, each of which has unique attributes and fighting abilities. Players nurture and raise up to eight different Peaves with tasty grubs, toys, and entertaining items until they are fully grown - then unleash their amazing pets against other Peaves. Users may fight up to three different Peaves in single player mode, or challenge nearby friends to see whose pet is king.
Multiplayer battle mode takes place between two to four Peaves on separate iPads/iPhones, which combine to form one large arena with gameplay spanning all active devices. Battles are influenced by users and their Peaves will fight on their own accord depending on how they were raised, fed and treated. The last Peave standing wins.
Customizable elements and unlockable achievements such as level-ups, power boosts, coins and new exotic species will entertain players for hours. The simple controls, colorful graphics, stunning animations, and catchy music make this game appealing for children and adults of all ages.

The gameboard consists of a 9 x 7 grid of six-sided, hexagonal cells. The color of each cell is beige, but the cell turns red or blue depending upon the player who captures it. In the center of each cell is a diamond, which come in various shapes and colors. In their turn, players capture a cell by sliding their finger across three or more adjacent cells of the same diamond. Unlike a square cell with four adjacent cells, a hexagonal cell has six adjacent cells, which makes finding matches and forming chains easier. As players drag from cell to cell, arrows indicate the direction of the path, which lights up. Players can retrace their steps if they find a better route.
Long chains give players bonus points and special items like dynamite, which appears in a captured cell. Players can include the dynamite in a chain, which requires a payment in coins, and when the dynamite explodes during scoring, all the adjacent cells are captured. A bee can appear on a cell, and including that cell in a chain causes the bee to fly off, capturing additional cells. These power-ups create challenging strategic considerations that add to playability. Another strategic aspect of the game is choosing whether to create chains of the maximum length, versus chains that take cells away from the opponent.

Apple approves email encryption app Secutor - Published on 09/13/13

Indie developer Tony Yustein today is proud to introduce Secutor 1.0 for iOS. Secutor enables users to email each other using the S/MIME encryption method, which is the only native email encryption option on iOS. At this time, there is no other app on the App StoreSM that can generate the required certificates that carry the public/private keys allowing email messages to be securely encrypted. Users can also search their address books using the app to see if friends are already using the app.
Seattle, Washington - Indie developer Tony Yustein today is proud to introduce Secutor 1.0 for iOS. Secutor, an app that generates S/MIME email encryption certificates on iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, was approved by Apple.
Secutor enables users to email each other using the S/MIME encryption method, which is the only native email encryption option on iOS. At this time, there is no other app on the App StoreSM that can generate the required certificates that carry the public/private keys allowing email messages to be securely encrypted. Using the certificates generated by Secutor, user's email messages are encrypted using RSA Asymmetrical 2048-bit Encryption, which is not expected to be deciphered until 2030, even by the NSA.
Since iOS 5 S/MIME encryption was available in the Mail App but there was no app in the App Store which provided the needed public/private key pair certificates. Secutor is the first and currently the only app which provides this functionality. Users of the app can also search their address books using the app to see if their friends are already using the app or not. Exchanging S/MIME encrypted messages requires users' public keys to be installed on both devices. Secutor provides an easy to access directory for users to install their friends' public key certificates.
We are happy that now anyone can use encrypted emails on their devices. Mr Yustein said: "We are proud to be the first app which provides S/MIME encryption for the public."
