I have a 27" iMac Late 2012 and since updating to 10.8.5 it takes a while to wake up from sleep, starts off with a silvery screen and the wireless mouse and keyboard take a bit of clicking etc. to become active. When the screen returns I get the message "! The disk was not ejected properly. If possible, always eject a disk before unplugging it or turning off. …" I have not had any disks inserted. I did get this message occasionally in the past (after connecting cameras) but now it happens every time the IMac wakes.

Does anyone know why this is happening? Up until now I was very happy with my new iMac but this is annoying and time wasting.

and tapped "update" again. Shortly there after the update window
went blank. I thought maybe it had updated iTunes. However, I

Same thing happened to me so I went to the Apple site and downloaded itunes
from there. Once it updated on my machine, I was able to start the IOS
update.

I've just discovered that there is no longer a Radio entry under Library on my iPhone (iPhone 5). I don't listen much to radio on iPhone so I never noticed when it went away. I'm running iOS 5.

There is no Radio category under Library. I know there used to be because I had set up several radio stations for myself there.

Did it go away? When? Why? I gather that is going to come back with iOS 7 but I can't use iOS 7 because it will keep me off my corporate network for some I.T. reason.

When did "Radio" go away? I know I can select Radio in iTunes Preferences, but it still does not show up under the Library listing.

Can anyone explain?

I have a problem and was needing advice and possible solutions.

All of a sudden I cannot message some contacts (over wi-fi) at my home using the iMessage feature on iMac, iPhone and iPad. (I have the Beta version installed on my iMac for iMessage).

The settings seem to be correct on all devices.

It was like this before I installed iOS7 as well.

Any ideas are most welcome.
