The weekend is finally here. I'm heading out to the Tahoe Mountains again for a weekend of campfires, beers, and relaxation. I know I'll be using my favorite stargazing apps to scan the night sky, but I'll probably be sans-technology otherwise. Great news gamers! Gameloft has made its recently-released ‘Asphalt 8: Airborne’ game free for a limited time. The developer made the announcement yesterday via its Twitter account, saying that the title would be free through the weekend. Apple is in search of a thin films engineer for its Mobile Devices team, according to a recent job posting. More specifically, it’s looking for an engineer with extensive experience with thin-film technologies in either semiconductor processing or solar industries. The posting suggests Apple is investigating a viable alternative energy source for future mobile products.
