With the release of version 1.2, users can still take advantage of the simple yet powerful functionality that they have come to expect from Zoom It; the app that makes it easy to view your Mac's screen through a virtual magnifying glass, with out having to zoom in the entire screen. Zoom It's users include artists, engineers, designers, presenters, photographers, project collaborators and people who rely on corrective lenses. The app's handy loupe can still magnify any area of the user's screen from 5 to 45%, making it far superior to the screen zoom that is built into OS X.

Played in landscape orientation, R-ROUND offers four different environments, each with its own hero and musical theme. All the original music, so integral to the game, is recorded in stereo, and players are advised to enjoy its full quality through the use of headphones. Every 3D hero wears headphones, enhancing their ability to achieve high scores based on accurate beat matching.
The four environments include: a forest clearing, where a young girl blows kisses as she hits attacking gnomes; a roiling ocean, where a diminutive pirate shoots octopus arms with his flintlock pistol; inside a castle tower, where a boy with the helmet and cape of a Roman soldier kicks oncoming ninjas; and a dark riparian forest, where a teenage wizard fights off dark spirits with his magic wand. In each of the four worlds, players have a three-quarter, overhead view from behind the rotating flat disk at the center bottom of the screen, which functions much like a playground roundabout or merry-go-round.
Each environment has its own musical theme, and they vary in tempo from 140 to 170 beats per minute. The faster the tempo, the more difficult the game. At more advanced levels, attacks are more synchronized, allowing players to hit multiple attackers on a single beat. While the timing and number of attackers may change, enemies always come from one of five directions, spread equally along a semicircle, where one path is vertical from the top of the screen, two paths are horizontal from each side, and the last two are in between at 45 and 135 degrees.
"Put your finger on the character at the center of the screen," advised Luis Baker of Yijie Studio. "Spin it and hit the coming enemies on the beat of the music. Hit it in time to score points."

With its new funding, Flow Studio plans to increase its capacity and development speed so it can launch more Leap Motion enabled apps and find the right market within the next 12 months.

The seed funding from the games and lottery giant Synot Holding will help Flow Studio to become the leading Leap Motion developer. "We are exploring several areas where Leap Motion brings major controls improvement. From entertainment, over interactive visualizations to education. Funding gives us an opportunity to experiment, try different solutions, learn quicker and launch faster," said Richard Horin, co-founder of Flow Studio.
"Synot Holding has been supporting young and dynamic teams from the IT industry for several years. Flow Studio's team has quickly gained our attention with a passion, professional approach and an interesting conception," said Miroslav Valenta Jr., Synot's sales director for the Czech and Slovak Republics. "We also see a potential for connecting Flow Studio's skills with our core business in the lottery and games.
"Being a part of the Synot family gives us access to several interesting start-ups including Madfinger Games, the authors of iOS smash hits such as Shadow Gun and Dead Trigger. What we want to give back to the holding is creativity, ability to come up with original solutions and modern trends which will develop the main lottery business," explains Horin.
Flow Studio is now working on several commercial projects as well as developing a new entertainment title which will be published in November.

Nah-Meen Studios today announces Trial By Survival 1.10, an update to their popular game title for iOS devices. Trial By Survival is a beautifully drawn post apocalyptic action RPG with roguelike and strategy elements. Players will have to find food within the ruins of the wasteland to use for traveling the world map. The update brings exciting new features including a food mechanic and night time searching to Survival Mode. More weapons have also been added to the player's arsenal.
Pearl River, New York - Nah-Meen Studios has updated Trial By Survival to 1.10. The update brings exciting new features including a food mechanic and night time searching to Survival Mode. Players will have to find food within the ruins of the wasteland to use for traveling the world map. This mechanic brings a new level of depth to Survival Mode, making each day count even more.
If players are brave enough, they can now venture out into the night where they can double down to get more supplies and food for the next day. Players searching at night will find it harder to see and will have to use flares or fire to illuminate the area. More weapons have been added to the player's arsenal. One new weapon is the Torch, which uses fire instead of blunt force to dispose of enemies. When players are out at night, the Torch can be used to set objects on fire to see where the danger lurks.
Six additional arenas with their own leaderboards have been added to Arena Mode with the integration of Game Center. Each new arena presents a unique challenge whether it's a dungeon atmosphere, closed quarters or heavy tree cover.
