What are you trying to import?
If you are importing photos, and only JPEG seems to work, you could always open the photos in Preview and re-save them as JPEG.

I accidentally dragged the Documents folder out of the dock and it went out in a puff of smoke! I know the Documents folder is still in Finder. But I want to restore the folder back onto the dock, and I cant figure out how to do it. Can someone pls tell me how?
Thanks,

Documents in the Dock is merely an alias of Documents in your User folder. Go to your User folder, click on Documents and drag it to where you want it placed in your Dock.

Amba,
You can drag any file or folder from a Finder window to the Dock, but they can only go after the apps at the end, in their own special section. Could that be why it hasn't worked for you so far?
