Development of Unknown Orbit was somewhat unique, as it was created using a visual scripting solution called Playmaker (for Unity3d), which looks like a flowchart editor. Playmaker allowed Jay, a creative with no programming skills, to create Unknown Orbit with almost no coding whatsoever.

Jump, float and fly around a surreal planetary system as a comet. Players must use the planet's hills and valleys to launch into deep space and hurtle through sparkling firefly clouds to reach the orbiting moons and beyond.
Space out and enter a state of flow with an entrancing vibe and soundtrack by Rhys Lindsay. Perfect the smoothest landings and highest jumps, and glide across a strange orbital landscape.
Two nearby stars melt away the player's ice core, so they must absorb snow balls that are scattered around the environment to prolong their life.
String together moves to gain an ever increasing and limitless point combo, then compete with friends on the GameCenter Leaderboard.
"Throughout development, I was highly focussed on creating a very surreal vibe, in terms of visuals, music and sound. I wanted a smooth, flowing and strange game that drew you into a unique little world." explained Jay Weston of Exbleative.
Development of Unknown Orbit was somewhat unique, as it was created using a visual scripting solution called Playmaker (for Unity3d), which looks like a flowchart editor. Playmaker allowed Jay, a creative with no programming skills, to create Unknown Orbit with almost no coding whatsoever.

An animated prologue sets the stage for the gameplay that follows. Pookie and Tushka have traveled to an unknown area of the magical Icelands, where Chuli, the wise wolf, is waiting. Chuli explains to them that a magical phenomenon is occurring: ice blocks, in the shape of numbers, are being released from a dormant volcano. To preserve the energies of the Icelands, the mystical numbers must be collected. Chuli then hands Tushka a pair of magical Swords of Fire and explains to him that, because of his great strength, Tushka has been chosen to wield the Swords and collect this magical, mathematical energy.
The five different games allow players to help Tushka with his task. Players swipe their fingers to control Tushka's magical Swords of Fire and slice through glimmering, frozen numbers, collecting and preserving the magical energy of the Icelands. Each of the five different games can be played in Easy, Medium, or Hard mode, and players can also choose Lightning mode, where they have only 90 seconds to score. In each game, random, single-digit numbers made of ice are tossed aloft from the bottom of the screen. Players are challenged to swipe through the right numbers, while avoiding the wrong numbers, including zero. Numbers tumble in the air and fall, with unsliced numbers causing the screen to gradually freeze over, signaling the end of the round. Each sliced number is cut into two or three numbers, which added together equal the original number.

Ticker for Twitter provides a completely different Twitter experience. Regardless of whether you run Ticker for Twitter on your docked iPhone or your iPad, you can now watch how lovely it will display the latest tweets while you are working on your computer, or even mirror it to your TV using AirPlay for a big screen experience. Ticker for Twitter can be used anywhere, as long as you use a bit of your imagination.
Ticker for Twitter is a universal app and it will run both on iPhones (iPods) and iPads (it looks awesome on mini!) and it is not meant to be a full-featured Twitter client. Rather, it puts focus on a single tweet content. Tweets are shown in a stylish way, with emphasis on mentions, hash tags and URL's. All these can also be tapped so that you can quickly open an URL or a hashtag in a built-in web browser.
Even though this app is trying to be as minimal as possible, some features could not be forgotten and those are retweeting and favoriting tweets. Simple enough, just by tapping a tweet, users can easily make tweets their favorite or, just as easy, retweet them.
Ticker for Twitter gives a lot of focus on attached media. Image previews are shown for each tweet that links to it, whether it's an image uploaded to Twitter or to an external service such as Instagram, yFrog, Mobypicture and many others.
Integration with other services and apps is also something that is important to Ticker for Twitter. Since this app is not aiming to be a full client replacement, we've integrated it with Tweetbot allowing users to display or reply to tweets using Tweetbot.
"Sharing is caring". Share any link from in-app web browser to your favorite social networks or just email or iMessage it. More 3rd party services are planned for future releases, just follow us!

Everport Update Brings Retina Support and OAuth - Published on 12/04/12

Salt Lake City based infiniteNIL Software announces Everport 1.1, an update to its Mac OS X app that quickly and easily imports data into Evernote from 37signals' Backpack service. Simply enter in your Backpack accounts and select the account you wish to import data from. Everport even downloads file attachments and images and adds them to Evernote. The update brings support for Retina displays and OAuth validation support to access customers' Evernote accounts.
Salt Lake City, Utah - infiniteNIL Software is proud to announce Everport 1.1, an update to their Mac OS X app that quickly and easily imports data into Evernote from 37signals' Backpack service. Everport now requires Mac OS X Lion and adds support for Retina displays such as on the new 15" and 13" Retina MacBook Pros. Everport 1.1 also adds support for OAuth when authenticating with the Evernote API. Evernote recently required this of all apps that use its API and means customer's no longer have to worry about Everport or other apps having access to their username and password. The update also fixes bugs in converting Textile formatting in Backpack notes to Evernote's note format. Textile is markup language and an alternative to HTML.
To use Everport, you simply enter in your Backpack accounts and select the account you wish to import data from. A list of all of the pages in your account is displayed. You can see what is on a page and mark the ones that you want to import. Then click the import button on the toolbar. Everport then tells you what it is going to do so you can confirm it. Everport then downloads the data, parses it, and adds it to Evernote. Everport creates an Evernote notebook for each Backpack page. Each item on the page becomes a note. All the notebooks are then placed in a stack named after the Backpack account. Everport even downloads file attachments and images and adds them to Evernote. Everport also preserves list and their contents, complete with checkboxes.
37signals' is no longer accepting new customers for Backpack and will probably drop support for it in the future. Now is the time to move that data somewhere else and if that somewhere else is Evernote, then Everport is the perfect tool for the job.

This free storybook introduces Henry the quirky reindeer and his rather unusual adventures with Santa Claus. Last year's story has been complemented with a second adventure as well as a new Bits and Bobs section with comprehension quiz, spot the difference and fun facts about reindeer, Christmas and snow and ice.
Cousin of Rudolph the famous reindeer, Henry astounds Santa Claus every year with unwelcome surprises and new unorthodox ways of delivering the Christmas presents. In the past year, his inability to fly the right way up meant that Santa had to deliver all the presents upside-down. This year Henry is catapulting Santa with supersonic speed backwards around the world.
Will this rather surprising delivery method really work out? Well, you'll just have to download the story to find out what happens.
"The Motlies are a group of very different and individual animals", says Dorit Erzmoneit, creator and illustrator of the Motlies. "They can all speak 'animalish' - the common language in the wild - and are able to share their experiences and stories. They are quirky and fun and can help to bring an understanding and appreciation of the world around us."
