Like most humans averse to change, I was a bit dismayed by the destruction of my most favorite interface, Cover Flow. Perhaps enough chatter on this and other forums to which the Apple folks pay attention might bring it back. With five Apple devices in the family and now with only two that still do Cover Flow (iPhone 4s) my "Apple Experience" has been greatly diminished!
Still lovin' my remaining cover flow devices!

As one who has always disliked the cover flow view I just have to say that the new look iTunes is a vast improvement. I love the fact that when you click on an album cover or movie the details open immediately below, I can see more information with less effort. It is not perfect but, in my opinion, it is an improvement.

To be vastly more effective than hoping that Apple monitors this list, try giving them feedback at:

I haven't moved to iTunes 11 yet, but I think that I agree with you. It is a good interface, but then there should be an option for John, who like the new interface.

I agree, I think the new interface is a big improvement. Whilst I wouldn't go as far as saying I disliked cover flow, it's never seemed much more that a cute gimmick to me, and not much use to really get things done. The new album layout is a massive improvement over it.

I'm running an iMac with OSX 10.6.8 and have always set the Energy
Saver Sleep settings to the default 15 miinutes non-activity for both
hard disk and screen.
No problems over the last few years, but just recently the settings
don't seem to be working. I've tried resetting the prefs to an
alternative time, then setting them back to the default, but it
remains wide awake.
Tried deleting the System Settings plist, but this made no difference.
And I haven't accidentally invoked Caffiene.
Does anybody have suggestions to get me back on track?
Thanks
George
