Just curious: I wonder how many cannot access the group website?
Anyway, I'll see what I can do.

I was kinda hoping you would download the file. ;) It opens in TextEdit by
default (after unzipping) and might be handy have open in the "background"
for quick reference.

The file is just a copy of this web page.

I pasted it into a file so it can be downloaded and then opened in TextEdit
for quick/easy reference (of course anyone can do this themselves).

They must have a Yahoo account to be able to subscribe to the mailing list.
What they might not have is a Yahoo E-mail address.

That's what I thought so how can someone not be able to access a link to a
file in this groups' site?

Daly,
I click on the mail box I want to search, and then enter the search term. I get the results in the lower window, and a drop-down selection below the search window of other options and other mailboxes. If I want to search all mailboxes I start by clicking the inbox. I have done it this way as long as I can remember.
Brent
OS X 10.7.5 and Mail.app 5.3.

This sounds like exactly what I need. But I'm not finding a "horizontal list just above the main window".
Could somebody be kind enough to send me a screen shot of where to look? I'm using OS X 10.7.5 and Mail.app version 5.3.

Otto sent me a screen capture that showed a short list of mailboxes just below the icons at the top of the Mail window. But I have about 40 mailboxes. When I would select a mailbox first and then type a search term, all mail would be searched. But I finally found that if I type the search term first and THEN click on a mailbox, only that box gets searched. So the problem is solved and I thank Otto and David and Brent for the suggestions.

What the heck is going on with Yahoo Groups? I can reach my macsupportcentral Group maybe once in five attempts. It's been this way for at least a week.

Do you mean you can't log in at

Do you use the Messages function there? Most people find it slow at best.

When I try to go to:
http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/macsupportcentral/messages
it's getting rare that I connect. I can go anywhere on the internet
except, maybe one out of five tries to any Yahoo Groups.
