Version 1.1 adds support for some widely requested WordPress features like custom fields, post formats, page templates and sticky posts. It also includes several important and some minor improvements and bug fixes.
Multiple blog support makes it easy to quickly check at a glance what's going on in all the blogs that have been set up in the app. The post browser displays recent posts neatly organized by date and the built-in calendar lets the user quickly jump to a different day. Posts from all the blogs can even be displayed simultaneously alongside one another.
The built-in post editor provides easy formatting of text and very simple insertion and manipulation of images and video. An HTML editor can also be used to fine tune the source code.
Keeping up-to-date with comments posted to the blogs is easy, with the app keeping track of which ones have already been read. Moderation tasks can be performed quickly and effortless, and new comments or replies to existing comments can be quickly written and submitted to the blog.
When internet access is not available, Posts app is able to keep working in offline mode. Changes made to posts, pages or comments are kept in the Outbox and are submitted to their corresponding blogs as soon as internet connectivity is restored.

The adaptive learning apps incorporate interactive learning games with engaging stories to teach children skills from a comprehensive curriculum. Palo Alto, California - Following the worldwide success of the first and second Leo's Pad apps for iPad, Kidaptive has released the next animated appisode of the Leo's Pad Preschool Kids Learning Series. Stanford-trained educators have teamed up with an Emmy-award winning director and feature film animators to create this highly acclaimed series of adaptive learning apps.
The animated stories follow the adventures of eight-year-old friends: Leo (Leonardo da Vinci), Gally (Galileo), and Marie (Curie). In appisodes 1 and 2, the friends construct a telescope and build a rocket to travel through space while learning valuable skills, which are assessed by the app.
In the third appisode, "Catch that Question", children learn about gravity when Marie invents flying belts that allow her to fly. However, Marie's Question Lab begins to float away into the sky, and everyone must act quickly to help.
As part of the story, learners help Leo with painting, flying, and catching fireflies through games and activities. These activities are carefully engineered to teach learning dimensions such as turn-taking, impulse control, emotion identification in others, attention control, and collaboration.
Interactive games are integrated into the story and allow children to engage with the characters directly. The adaptive technology allows the difficulty of games in the app to automatically adjust based on previous responses by the learner.
Appisodes 1 - 3 are now available in the Leo's Pad: Preschool Kids Learning Series app. A total of 25 learning apps will be released in the series.

Jigsaw pieces are beautifully rendered with beveled edges, and there is a choice of relaxing background music to accompany the game. A range of useful tools allows players to select the edge pieces only and to collect and sort pieces in a tray. For those that need a little help, a preview of the puzzle can be displayed on screen or in the background.
The app comes bundled with a large selection of puzzles, and new puzzle packs can be purchased very cheaply in the Puzzle Store. Due to customer demand, new puzzle packs are now added to the Puzzle Store every Friday. "Customers were always asking for more and more puzzles, so we introduced Puzzle Friday. Customers now know exactly when new puzzles come out, and always have something new to puzzle for the weekend" said Paul.
One of the most popular features of the app is the Puzzle Maker. Using the Puzzle Maker players can create their own puzzles from their photos. Creating puzzles of familiar people and places adds a new level of fun and engagement to game play. "Kids love doing puzzles of people and places that are familiar to them" commented Paul. Playing puzzles has long been recognized as an important learning tool for kids because recognizing and analyzing patterns is the foundation of reading, math and logic skills. Puzzling is also a great way for people to keep their minds active, because it exercises both the logical (left) and creative (right) side of the brain at the same time.
