Howdy

Apple will pay a quarterly dividend of $2.65 USD per share on August 16, 2012.

Here's some info about Apple's early stock history

Here's some history of Apple's dividends, dates, amounts, and splits

The last dividend was paid on September 18, 1995, and was $ .12 USD per share (that's cents, not dollars).

Well, my point was that the particular drive that you pointed out was
unusually inexpensive, but there were a large number of user reviews
about that particular drive, and they weren't heartening. That led
me to wonder if the drive is question was B-stock.

I agree that it is now hard to figure out which internal hard drive
mechanisms are good, period.

My contact in the hard drive recovery business says that by far the
best internal hard drives on the market currently come from Samsung.
Seagate purchased Samsung's hard drive division

last year. However, for now, Samsung-branded drives are still made
in South Korea, and South Korean-made drives still tend to be way
better drives than those from China.
