I've been using Numbers but today got a daily deal for Office Mac for $69 so I bought it. I got it installed but can't open my spreadsheet file from Numbers. How do I switch back from Numbers to Excel? Thanks for any and all help with this.

Apple iWork uses their own file format(s) that I wouldn't expect Office to know about. I've had success exporting files from Pages in .doc format, then opening them in Word. You'll likely need to Export (File menu) each of your spreadsheets from Numbers as Excel format, unless there's some batch converter out there.

I only have about a half dozen so I can try the export. Thanks.
