"Imagine you took the fun unpredictability of the Magic 8-Ball and coupled it with hilarious characters known for their odd take on life. Then you added the technology to ask the character a question and have it talk back to you. Well, we did it. It is called Ask Grandma. For us, graphics like nobody else had, over-the-top voiceovers and laugh out loud humor were our top priority for each character. We set out to create the app you couldn't wait to break out and show your friends," said Adam McArthur, co-founder of Big Future Media.

"We have two more characters we are about to release. One is a beauty queen named Melissa Maybe. We are really excited for her. The other we are keeping tight lipped on. But, it will be one of our favorites and have a bit of shock value to it," said Chris Cotty, another founder of Big Future Media.
Ask Grandma and friends boasts hilarious, lifelike graphics from visual artist Amine Slamani, and uses hand picked voice-over artists/impressionists from around the globe. Unlike Talking Tom, where their characters simply repeat what you are saying, Ask Grandma and friends have 25 pre-loaded hysterical responses. Simply ask the character a question and listen as the character answers. And now you can share what you asked and the response with your friends via Facebook and Twitter.
The feedback has been great from people who have downloaded the app. Especially when they get a funny question/answer combo. There is an overall "shock and awe" feel when the character speaks back and you are either frightened or can't stop laughing. We'll take either response.

Word-A-Fall Update Includes Exciting Features + Social Media Integration - Published on 03/05/13

Word-A-Fall is a word-based game that challenges players to spell as fast as they can. Users race against the clock to create different words quickly before they disappear into the waterfall. The application offers three timed challenges, each tracking player scores.
Darby, Pennsylvania - Developer Just Mobile Programs announced the new launch of the Word-A-Fall 1.2 app, available for $1.99 USD on iTunes. Word-A-Fall is a word-based game that challenges players to spell as fast as they can. Users race against the clock to create different words quickly before they disappear into the waterfall. The application offers three timed challenges, each tracking player scores.
"Word-A-Fall is a creative spin on critical thinking word games," said Jake Prescott, CEO of Just Mobile Programs. "It's a family friendly game, ideal for anyone seeking a game that's both mentally and visually stimulating."
To get started, players simply select the game mode from the main menu. Tile letters will begin coming down a waterfall. Each letter has a point value from 1 to 10, impacting the overall score based on selection. In order to craft words, players must select letters by tapping them before they disappear in the waterfall. Users can then submit their words by swiping to the right on the entry box. The point value of each tile determines the score from each submission. The more tiles a player can string together, the more points they acquire. The game ends when time runs out. Users will then see their final score, best word, and word count.
Users have the option of choosing from three different game play modes. Classic mode allows players two minutes to spell as many words as they can. Wordsmith mode challenges the user's ability to generate large words quickly. Players are required to craft words with 4 letters or more in order to receive any points. Rushing Rapids mode increases the speed of falling letters after the submission of each word.
In each game, players can utilize action tiles that can help or hinder their progress. Positive action tiles give the player an advantage by rewarding them with more time to play or multiplying their score. There are also negative action tiles that balance the gameplay.
The updated version of Word-A-Fall has improved upon many aspects of gameplay. In addition to fixing bugs and improving stability, there are added sound effects and title music, new animations for the falling tiles, and game center integration which includes leaderboards, achievements, and challenges to encourage competition among players. More social integration is also included, allowing users to share their scores via Twitter, Facebook, Email or Text messages!
"We took our users comments into careful consideration with this update," said Prescott. "Our goal was to improve the overall functionality and enjoyment of this game. The new features reflect that goal, and we know people will appreciate that."

Darby, Pennsylvania - Developer Just Mobile Programs announced the new launch of the Word-A-Fall 1.2 app, available for $1.99 USD on iTunes. Word-A-Fall is a word-based game that challenges players to spell as fast as they can. Users race against the clock to create different words quickly before they disappear into the waterfall. The application offers three timed challenges, each tracking player scores.

To get started, players simply select the game mode from the main menu. Tile letters will begin coming down a waterfall. Each letter has a point value from 1 to 10, impacting the overall score based on selection. In order to craft words, players must select letters by tapping them before they disappear in the waterfall. Users can then submit their words by swiping to the right on the entry box. The point value of each tile determines the score from each submission. The more tiles a player can string together, the more points they acquire. The game ends when time runs out. Users will then see their final score, best word, and word count.
Users have the option of choosing from three different game play modes. Classic mode allows players two minutes to spell as many words as they can. Wordsmith mode challenges the user's ability to generate large words quickly. Players are required to craft words with 4 letters or more in order to receive any points. Rushing Rapids mode increases the speed of falling letters after the submission of each word.
In each game, players can utilize action tiles that can help or hinder their progress. Positive action tiles give the player an advantage by rewarding them with more time to play or multiplying their score. There are also negative action tiles that balance the gameplay.
The updated version of Word-A-Fall has improved upon many aspects of gameplay. In addition to fixing bugs and improving stability, there are added sound effects and title music, new animations for the falling tiles, and game center integration which includes leaderboards, achievements, and challenges to encourage competition among players. More social integration is also included, allowing users to share their scores via Twitter, Facebook, Email or Text messages!
"We took our users comments into careful consideration with this update," said Prescott. "Our goal was to improve the overall functionality and enjoyment of this game. The new features reflect that goal, and we know people will appreciate that."

TraxItAll Software is a privately-held Chicago-based company that produces productivity software for smartphone devices. It began operation in 2003, initially offering TraxItAll on the Palm OS platform in November of 2004.
