"The iMums want to showcase apps helpful to those with this complex neurodevelopmental disorder," Hirst said. "All of the apps we recommend have been carefully screened and field-tested to ensure quality. This is particularly important for families with special needs children, who often rely on apps to supplement therapy."
The iMums site also features reviews of educational apps for children with other special needs, and for the typical child. The iMums, four moms from four corners of the earth, met online while searching for and reviewing apps for their own children. In 2011, they formed a children's tech review site to help parents and educators find the best educational apps. The iMums are founder Amanda Powell of Australia, Hirst of the U.S., Grace Shirley Chong of Singapore and Mary Mahon, a United Kingdom native now living in the U.S. Collectively, the group has 11 children ages 1 to 18.
To date, The iMums and partnering educational app developers have given away nearly $8,000 worth of iPad minis, cases and apps to families with special needs, teachers and speech pathologists. The iMums review educational apps and tech items to help parents and teachers find the best teaching tools for their children. The iMums also sponsor "Freebie Fridays" to give away promo codes for kids' apps, and highlight free and sale apps in the marketplace.

"I have good news and I have even better news!" Daddy announces at the beginning of the story. The good news is that the family, including a little boy nicknamed One Sock, are going to spend Thanksgiving at Grandma and Grandpa's house. The even better news turns out to be not such a great development for poor One Sock however...
Our hero's constant and dearest companion is his favorite toy, Alligator. Unfortunately for both One Sock and his stuffed playmate, the family's newest member, Rodger the dog, also takes a strong liking to Alligator. As the action moves to Grandpa and Grandma's house, Rodger's fixation with One Sock's toy persists, much to the little boy's distress. Then, to make matters worse, Alligator gets lost! Will One Sock's beloved toy be found? Will he and Rodger ever become friends?

The main idea behind Tournament Mode is perfectly simple: a new map appears every week on which the player has to survive a certain number of enemy waves. While playing Toy Defense, making tactical decisions, and enjoying pitch-perfect audio-visual effects, players will get points and be ranked on a TOP list with their friends. Set in World War I, Toy Defense combines elements of strategy, simulation, and classic tower defense to bring the player a completely unique experience. Each map in Tournament Mode provides about 100 advancing waves of approaching enemies, and players need to make fast strategic and tactical decisions in constantly changing gameplay situations. The arsenal of units available to the player includes riflemen, flamethrowers, cannons, anti-aircraft guns and 24 upgrades to them. Each type of unit has a different cost and defensive capability, so users have to be careful in their choice and placement on the map.
Toy Defense, which was named the best strategy game of 2012 (All About Casual Games), has now become a social phenomenon. Plans are currently being made to link the new mode to other social networks as well. Tournament Mode will provide interest for a wider audience while bringing endless fun to existing Toy Defense fans.

After downloading the app, users select a favorite character and customize their looks, outfits, emotions, and actions. The viewing angle can be rotated, tilted, or zoomed as needed.
3DiLLUSTRATOR includes one free and unlocked character, offering unlimited image downloads in two sizes (384x384 and 768x768 pixels) and unlimited kiss movie animation downloads at 768x768 pixels.
A variety of other professionally designed characters are also available and can be unlocked through in-app purchases. Before purchase, users can preview characters in presentations showing their hair, skin, eye, outfits, emotions, and poses. Once unlocked, characters offer unlimited 384x384 pixel image downloads at no additional charge. Custom high-resolution images and movie animations are also available for each unlocked character via in-app purchase.
All customized images in 3DiLLUSTRATOR are available in various resolution sizes (up to 3072x3072 pixels) as PNG files with transparent backgrounds. Custom movie animations come in sizes up to 1280x720 pixels and are provided in MP4 format that can be looped.
