But before players can race they have to collect enough poo from the trackside the power the stadium. If they don't, the lights go out before they reach the finish line. If a dog wins its race, players get points that they can use to unlock questions (and answers) that will show just how unusual, and effective, poo can be as a source of renewable fuel.

Is there such a thing as a poo burger?
How much poo would you need to light your home?
In which world city do residents make their own personal contribution to public transport?
Presently, over 95% of UK energy comes from fossil fuels, things like coal, natural gas and petroleum. And these are quickly running out. The UK has a target to reduce this consumption to 85% by 2020 (and that's not so very far away.) To keep the lights on, we have to switch to 'renewables' and so we all need to know what they are.
This game promotes the idea of the importance of the search for renewable fuels in a fun way. It's the first in a range of apps we're designing to engage more people in the sustainability debate.
Suitable for ages 4 , it will be a useful learning tool for schools and colleges as well as for 'green' organisation whose role it is to promote sustainability.

Hot Springs Village, Arkansas - A little Arkansas boy with a pair of magical britches is the star of "Smarty Britches: Nouns," a new educational app that celebrates Arkansas, created by National Board Certified Teacher Cyndie Sebourn of Hot Springs Village, AR.
Targeted to first- through third-graders, the app teaches kids about nouns, using an Arkansas-based tale that includes 24 pages of story and illustrations, interactive activities, sound sprites, and animation.
A National Board Certified teacher, Sebourn said the app "is designed for educators by an educator."
"Smarty Britches" teaches literacy and nouns through narrative, and allows kids to leave the text to visit non-linear pages and practice specific types of nouns: person, animal, place, thing or idea," Sebourn said.
Sebourn, founder of Sascyn Publishing, Inc., also created free curriculum for the app, called "Smarty Activities," for educators and parents that can be found on the author's website. The curriculum is aligned to Common Core State Standards, uses upper levels of Bloom's Taxonomy, incorporates reading strategies, and is cross curricular with science, geography, art, and music. Lessons include Picasso's "The Old Guitarist," Handel's "Messiah," as well as topics about southern states.
"The app works for parents, homeschoolers, and teachers," Sebourn said. "A child can use the app without an adult and learn nouns, or the adults can download the free curriculum and expand the child's learning."
The app tells the story of a southern boy who owns a magical pair of "britches" that teach him literacy by helping him learn about the nouns in his life. Teaching cultural literacy about the South and the state of Arkansas, some of its features include The Arkansas River and Hog Heaven - a make-believe place noun where Hog fans go when their team wins.

Welcome to the Micro World of Jellyflug!
Play as Grash, an undiscovered bacterium that has been abruptly taken from his home in the bathroom by a boorish household pet. An adventurous journey of micro proportions where you have to run, jump and use all your wits to survive. Help Grash make his way through the vast dangers of the human household and the more terrifying human body to return to his colony.
But, you are not alone against the dangers of the micro-world; your strain of baby bacteria will help you! Use them to battle against a multitude of enemies and overcome obstacles blocking your way.
