Really seven games in one, 123 Kids Fun GAMES is a "Best Of" collection taken from RosMedia's more than 100 App Store listings. The company's humorous and engaging illustrations and animations have made it a leader in kid's games internationally. Interactive, talking characters include cartoon cats, mice, ducks, monkeys, frogs, bears, dogs, and more. All aspects of learning and gameplay take place outdoors in nature, and the process of gaining valuable skills is as effortless and enjoyable as noticing the billowy clouds or fields of sunflowers.
In the Alphabet category, kids see an object, read the text, and hear it aloud, "'A' is for Apple." Touch the "A" and the name of the letter is heard. Touch the word "Apple" and it is pronounced to hear. Touch the big red apple, and a friendly worm appears from inside, as he is heard munching. Through all 26 letters, kids can touch & hear the names of all the letters and sample words that begin with that letter. Alphabet games let kids test their skills by dragging objects onto the appropriate letter or popping the right balloon, so that the lion can catch the correct object in his letter labeled basket.
Just as kids learn the name and sound of letters in the Alphabet category, in the Number category, they practice the name and sound of numerals from 1 to 10. Players repeatedly count groups of identical objects, establishing the relationship between number and quantity. Players can count candles on a cake in any order; each time they touch a candle its number is heard aloud and its flame is blown out. A wonderful toy train animation lets kids fill train cars with the correct number of objects.
A playful tabby with a megaphone announces the picture and matching word, with knowledge of more than 100 examples. Touch the picture and hear the duck quack; move backward or forward through the list by touching an arrow. The Sounds & Words game includes the same objects that have been introduced, allowing young students to practice selecting the "Xylophone" from a group of two other familiar objects.
Perhaps most challenging of all is the Shapes category, where kids are introduced to such terms as Rectangle, Rhombus, Arrow, Clover, Star, and Circle. Shapes only become visible after users play connect-the-dots, which creates the shape outlined. The special effects are eye-catching, and characters display a personality of their own, complete with facial expression and sound. In the Shapes game, players choose the right shape from a group of three different objects that are examples of the shape.
In a lighter vein, the Animals game lets kids scroll through the front, middle, and back of many different animals seen in profile. Match the correct three sections and win. The music game offers a working drum set, piano, and xylophone, all multi-touch capable for playing chords. Finally, The Break Balloons game challenges players to break balloons before they float off-screen.

New iOS game boasts innovative control scheme - Published on 09/14/12

NadNed Games has released DuckTwist 1.1.0, its first offering for the iOS family of devices. In DuckTwist, players control a cute duck by twisting their device in 360 degrees, just like the wheel of a car, providing a unique gaming experience. The game consists of 3 scenes each with 10 levels. As the user advances in a scene the levels become longer, narrower and more twisted. Each level can be played in 3 difficulty levels that affect the duck's walking speed.
Herzeliya, Israel - NadNed Games, a new company in the mobile gaming arena, has released its first offering for the iOS family of devices - DuckTwist. In DuckTwist users control a cute little duck that walks on a narrow path, the duck is constantly walking forward while the user controls his direction by twisting his device in 360 degrees.
The game consists of 3 scenes each with 10 levels. As the user advances in a scene the levels become longer, narrower and more twisted. Each scene introduces an obstacle, for example, the second scene (fall) introduces the wind which pushes the duck off the path. Each level can be played in 3 difficulty levels that affect the duck's walking speed.
In each level the user is given a certain amount of "lives" depending on the level's difficulty. If the duck goes off the path and the user has more "lives" he can continue from the same point. If the user runs out of "lives" he can restart the level or purchase additional "lives" using coins. One "life" costs 10 coins. The user is given 50 coins when he installs the game. He can get an additional 50 coins for liking the DuckTwist page on Facebook. After that he can buy 50 coins for $0.99, 150 coins for $1.99 and 500 coins for $5.00.
The game includes beautiful prerendered graphics for the levels and cutscenes, a complete soundtrack and various sound effects to immerse the user in the experience.
This is NadNed Games' first attempt at creating a video game, as CEO Udi Rubinstein says: "When you browse the App Store these days you can't help but notice that most games are more of the same, so we really wanted to try and give the user a new and unique experience in DuckTwist. We chose to do so through the control scheme. We are not the first to offer a game that is controlled by rotating the device in 360 degrees, but those that do so are rare and have very different game mechanics. I've watched many people trying to play it for the first time, some figured it out right away while others needed a few tries, but all agreed it was fun and unique, I hope others will think the same". The first version of the game was launched in mid April and the first update was released two weeks ago. The game was also made free to download after the update. The game is available on all App Stores world wide.

Each level can be played in 3 difficulty levels that affect the duck's walking speed.
In each level the user is given a certain amount of "lives" depending on the level's difficulty. If the duck goes off the path and the user has more "lives" he can continue from the same point. If the user runs out of "lives" he can restart the level or purchase additional "lives" using coins. One "life" costs 10 coins. The user is given 50 coins when he installs the game. He can get an additional 50 coins for liking the DuckTwist page on Facebook. After that he can buy 50 coins for $0.99, 150 coins for $1.99 and 500 coins for $5.00.
The game includes beautiful prerendered graphics for the levels and cutscenes, a complete soundtrack and various sound effects to immerse the user in the experience.
This is NadNed Games' first attempt at creating a video game, as CEO Udi Rubinstein says: "When you browse the App Store these days you can't help but notice that most games are more of the same, so we really wanted to try and give the user a new and unique experience in DuckTwist. We chose to do so through the control scheme. We are not the first to offer a game that is controlled by rotating the device in 360 degrees, but those that do so are rare and have very different game mechanics. I've watched many people trying to play it for the first time, some figured it out right away while others needed a few tries, but all agreed it was fun and unique, I hope others will think the same". The first version of the game was launched in mid April and the first update was released two weeks ago. The game was also made free to download after the update. The game is available on all App Stores world wide.

Play for 5 minutes or play for 2 hours! Doesn't matter! Aplexia offers 90 levels and more coming that will take you from just seconds to minutes to solve. Totaling in at about 2-3 hours to complete the current 90 levels. Do you accept the challenge?
Unique Gameplay:
Who knew that such a simple game could be so fun? We did! In Aplexia all you do is swipe anywhere on your iOS device's screen in the direction you would like the green block to move and it will smoothly glide over. The only limitations are: you cannot slide back over a green block and you must fill in all colored(white, blue, red, and yellow) squares. Have fun!
Level Pack 1: Block Basics:
The first 30 levels, Block Basics, consist of white and green blocks. Pretty simple? I'd say so! The objective is to fill in all of the white squares with green ones without getting stuck. You cannot move over a green square. If you get stuck, the level automatically resets itself; however, you can also reset the level manually by pressing the reset button in the lower right corner. Woops! If you made a mistake, it's not a problem! All you have to do is simple press the button to the right of the pause button and it will undo your last step. Use it as many times as you need, but remember, the faster you finish a level, the higher score you get.
Level Pack 2: Double Time:
What on earth is this blue block doing here? Well, I'll tell you! The new block in this pack is the blue block that allows you to move over that space 2 whole times! Pretty exciting, right? This new pack introduces new style and strategy to solving puzzles. This block is used in all the packs after this one, so you better get used to it.
Level Pack 3: Where Am I?
If you thought the first two packs were easy, then this is the pack for you! Combining all the previous elements, "Where Am I?" has the most challenging puzzles yet! This pack shows off 2 new kinda of block that do the exact same thing! Red blocks teleport you to the other red block and yellow blocks teleport you to the other yellow block. Sounds pretty simple, ehh? You will be surprised at how challenging these levels are. Enjoy!

Arlington, Texas - Thursby Software Systems, Inc., adds new features to its PKard(R) Reader iPad/iPhone secure browsing solution. The new app version is available immediately worldwide from Apple's iTunes store, at no additional cost to end-users. The PKard Reader v1.1 secure browsing app lets users access web portals, collaboration sites and web-based email such as Microsoft's OWA (Outlook Web Access) directly from their Apple mobile devices, with strong, two-factor authentication to industry standard smart cards, including US Government CAC and PIV cards.
The web site connection is fully encrypted and secure. Two-factor login (chip card and PIN) is much safer than using passwords, and may be required for many government and enterprise web sites. A US military reservist, for example, can access educational or training materials on secure sites using a personal device. Projects range from bring-your-own-device (BYOD) simplicity to complex environments that are partially, or fully locked down by third party Mobile Device Management (MDM) offerings, in Government, Healthcare, Energy, Finance and Corporate settings.
Highlights of the new PKard Reader v1.1 app include general user interface and under-the-hood improvements, extended document handling, usability with sites hard-wired to Microsoft Internet Explorer and readiness for the next Apple operating system version, iOS 6. Support for Thursby's plug-in PKard Reader and the Precise Biometric's Tactivo cased reader accessories is also included.
