Is there a way to surf the web without being tracked or creating
a history?
Thanks.

In Safari:

Preferences > Privacy

Safari (menu) > Private Browsing...

Google has proven that advertisers won't always honor these Privacy settings if they can help it, but that's a good start. There are other services like a Turing proxy that you can use to remain private from others on the Internet. It won't prevent local prying eyes, however.

I use Startpage and Firefox. Keeps me on the downlow.

What are your recommendations for programs to track usage of my internet band usage?
