First of all, get rid of the mail in Mail. Shut Mail down. Go to Gmail via the web interface and delete the mail there. That will get rid of the desired email once and for all.

The Airport Extreme is a router, but it doesn't connect to the coaxial cable from Time Warner. It is not a cable modem.

I received the same notice from TWC. There are only two cable modems
"approved" for use with Time Warner's turbo Internet service. While I don't
use it yet, I may want to upgrade in the future and have the ability to do
so now.
The two are both Motorola models. One is also a wireless router. The
SBG6580. The other is strictly wired, model SB6141.
Since they are only about $14 apart in price, I opted for the wireless
model, which I just ordered from Amazon.com.
These two models are also backward-compatible with the standard and basic
Internet services.
I will post my feelings about the purchase, once I receive the modem and
have a chance to try it out.

I've seen top many T-W customers basically have to 'eat' the cost of their purchased modems lest be left behind by these updates. Don't recall being charged for a stand alone modem either. Always used my own router or switch.

Hold down the Option (Alt) key on your keyboard while booting up. That will give you a screen offering every bootable drive that is available.
You will probably see only the USB drive listed. If more drives do show up, use the arrow keys to select the USB drive, then click the Return (Enter) key to proceed with the booting process.

Thanks Paul, I made a Recovery Disk out of my USB Drive, so I should be good to go. One thing though, and that is after I successfully made the Recovery Disk, the disk itself no longer shows under "Devices" in Finder. I opened Disk Utility, and it shows there, and shows that it is mounted, but still not showing up in Finder.
Do you know how to fix that issue. Last time I ran into this problem, all I had to do was open Disk Utility and choose to "Mount" the disk, and it then showed in Finder. In this case, DU is already showing the disk as mounted, but still not showing up in Finder.
Any ideas?

Most browsers are free, and if you install and use several of them they don't conflict with each other. So why not install a few and decide which one *you* like best?

I mostly use Safari, which is a great browser as long as you make sure to keep the Adobe Flash plug-in meticulously updated.
