NYC Dream features an interactive game with a distinct goal and arena that differentiates it from other similar apps. The game features the realm of New York City and the variety of business transactions that go on there. Players become involved in the city in any way that they dream by buying and selling products having changing values. Players do this in an attempt to pay off a loan they have been given and, as they have no money, they must rise to the challenge of working the fully functional business system to their advantage.
The game features 50 different kinds of goods to be traded, from Coffee to Jewelry, Yankees Tickets, Used Cars, and much more. The player can go to any number of iconic New York City locations, such as Madison Square Garden, the Empire State Building, or the Brooklyn Bridge. Once there, players buy goods and go to another location to sell, making money with each successful business transaction. Handy arrows help first time players make their way through the layout of the game and guide them through their first successful transaction.
The loan must be repaid in 30 days from the start of the game, and a new day begins each time the player goes to another location to complete a transaction. The game keeps track of the day for the player in the upper left hand corner at all times. The home button in the lower left hand corner takes players to the home street, an engaging animation where they can view their accomplishments by clicking on the glinting trophy in the middle. 30 achievements are possible and, once completed, they will light up in the list for the player to view.
The player's money and loan information is available at the bottom of the screen, as well as his or her bag and its contents. Players must repay their loans before the 30 days are up. NYC Dream can be played via Game Center, allowing users to compete with friends and share their big city adventures.

Starting from a newly shot or a saved photo, the editor can choose from effects such as: tube-style color TV, grainy newspaper photo, pop art diagonal pixels, or pop art square pixels. The color, background, and intensity (pixel size) of each effect are user-selectable, and edited photos can be saved and shared. A photo editor that employs computationally intensive image processing, rather than simple filters, Photoca gives iOS photographers the opportunity to make their photos stand out on social and photo sites.
Now that most photos are shot with smartphones, not cameras, there are many more photos to save and share. This has led to an explosion in photo filter apps that offer tints, sepia, B&W, chromatic distortions, etc. Photoca, however, is completely different. Instead of the application of a simple filtering effect, the app offers four distinct styles of image processing, wherein the very structure of the photo is altered. Users have complete control over the style, primary color, background color, and intensity of the processing action.

All photos are made up of small picture elements, or pixels, which viewed together, form a picture. Color photos in newspapers and magazines are printed with screens that create circular pixels, while computer monitors display color photos using square or rectangular pixels. The fineness or grain of an image depends upon the pixel density. Newspapers, computer monitors, magazines, and art books run the gamut from 40 to 300 (effective) pixels per inch. Photoca allows users to create eye-catching effects by widening the pixel density range of any photo from 0 to 300 ppi. Simultaneously, the app allows users to control the shape and color of the altered pixels.
For example, selecting any photo and choosing the grainy newspaper style with circular pixels, the user may first choose to set the primary color of the pixels. There is a choice of 12 different colors, or the photo's original colors can be preserved. In this example red is chosen, and white for the background pixels. Touching the Generate button produces a photo made up of only two colors: red and white. The darker or denser the original photo, the more red in the corresponding pixel. Tonal gradations are created by groups of circular pixels containing varying ratios of red and white. Finally, the user selects the intensity of the effect, how few pixels per inch. The fewer the ppi, the greater the pixelizing and aliasing effects.
There is now much less information in the photo. There are only two colors and only a fraction of the total number of pixels. And yet, the person in the photo is completely recognizable. When the processed photo is looked at, the viewer's eye and brain fill in much of the missing information. In this way, the viewer is required to participate in the re-construction of the photo, which participation carries over into his or her interpretation of the photo. The artistic results, effortlessly obtained with Photoca, are achieved by engaging viewers much more completely than when they look at a simple, hi-res, color photo.

Melbourne, Australia - Shiny Blur is pleased to introduce Seven More Minutes 1.0 for iOS. George McKibbin, an Australian Indie App developer, was browsing TED talks in his tiny apartment when one caught his eye, The game that can give you 10 extra years of life. The concept was a bit baffling, this was sounding like the best iPhone App idea he'd ever heard. Apparently by making life into a game and by completing mini challenges it was possible to (according to science) increase life expectancy and day to day quality of life. According to the research, 7 minutes and 35 seconds of 'bonus life' is earned by completing four challenges in an hour. Over a person's lifetime this would add up to as much as 10 years!
Immediately after watching the video, the app developer set to work developing a little iPhone App that would enable him and his friends to complete challenges that would improve the four resistances (social, mental, physical, and emotional) and keep a tally of all the bonus life they were earning in real life. The result of that was 'Seven More Minutes', an iPhone App which has just been launched on the App Store under George's company Shiny Blur.
The challenges range from physical things like standing up and touching your toes to social things such as walking up to a person and saying 'I like your style'.
The best part of all this is that the app will be available for free until midnight Sunday, September 16th, 2012 on the App Store as a launch sale.

Feed the Bird welcomes its players into the ornithological culinary world, in which worms, or Noogies, as SpiceItApp chose to call their grub, are assembled in a challenging puzzle, for the game's big-beaked bird to eat. The young Israel-based SpiceItApp mobile application start-up team members have more surprises up their sleeves for future updates.
Be�er Sheba, Israel - A fresh local Israeli team of young, self-taught programmers has recently decided to take their love for gaming to the next level. �We love mobile games, and recently decided that the time has come to create one of our own� so we did!� says Omri Moran, CEO and co-founder of SpiceItApp, a grassroots computer start-up company based in the southern city of Be�er Sheba. Little did he know that a mere two weeks later, his game, Feed the Bird, would rank Israel�s top ten in purchases at the AppStore.
Feed the Bird welcomes its players into the ornithological culinary world, in which worms, or Noogies, as SpiceItApp chose to call their grub, are assembled in a challenging puzzle, for the game�s big-beaked bird to eat. Backed up by an intuitive tutorial, amusing high-quality graphics, and a natural theme-suited tune, Feed the Bird is an easy to learn and highly entertaining mobile game.
The current version comprises of two modes. The �Classic� mode is a tricky �Move the Box�/�Unblock Me�-esque multi-level puzzle, in which the player has a certain amount of moves to form a Noogie of a definite block size for bird to eat. The fast-paced �Survival� mode is a race against the clock, in which the player must form as many Noogies as possible within a given time limit. As more Noogies are completed, the player gains more time and points. Even more time is granted by completing Noogies with clock pieces. Coin pieces unlock options for the player to buy bonuses for both modes, such as hints and auto-completes for assembling Noogies.
A recent update has enabled the new, Vegas-inspired, �Play with Friends� mode. Once selected, the player may compete against random or registered multiple players online, in a risky match for survival. The player decides how many coins to invest in the match, and the winner takes all. Since Feed the Bird is connected to the iPhone�s game center, users can keep track and compare their scores with players around the world, while earning achievements as they advance and become skilled Noogie makers.
Further updates, including �Disturb your Opponent� bonuses, aimed towards distracting your enemy bird-feeders, will be added to the game within the next few weeks.
SpiceItApp believes in their gamers, therefore the team describes Feed the Bird as, �Not fully defined.� SpiceItApp�s CEO says that they have left specific features of the game intentionally open for their audience�s input. �It�s a working progress,� he says, �I�d recommend everyone to stay tuned and follow us on our Facebook page for contests and giveaways. Be�er Sheba, Israel - A fresh local Israeli team of young, self-taught programmers has recently decided to take their love for gaming to the next level. �We love mobile games, and recently decided that the time has come to create one of our own� so we did!� says Omri Moran, CEO and co-founder of SpiceItApp, a grassroots computer start-up company based in the southern city of Be�er Sheba. Little did he know that a mere two weeks later, his game, Feed the Bird, would rank Israel�s top ten in purchases at the AppStore.
Feed the Bird welcomes its players into the ornithological culinary world, in which worms, or Noogies, as SpiceItApp chose to call their grub, are assembled in a challenging puzzle, for the game�s big-beaked bird to eat. Backed up by an intuitive tutorial, amusing high-quality graphics, and a natural theme-suited tune, Feed the Bird is an easy to learn and highly entertaining mobile game.
The current version comprises of two modes. The �Classic� mode is a tricky �Move the Box�/�Unblock Me�-esque multi-level puzzle, in which the player has a certain amount of moves to form a Noogie of a definite block size for bird to eat. The fast-paced �Survival� mode is a race against the clock, in which the player must form as many Noogies as possible within a given time limit. As more Noogies are completed, the player gains more time and points. Even more time is granted by completing Noogies with clock pieces. Coin pieces unlock options for the player to buy bonuses for both modes, such as hints and auto-completes for assembling Noogies.
A recent update has enabled the new, Vegas-inspired, �Play with Friends� mode. Once selected, the player may compete against random or registered multiple players online, in a risky match for survival. The player decides how many coins to invest in the match, and the winner takes all. Since Feed the Bird is connected to the iPhone�s game center, users can keep track and compare their scores with players around the world, while earning achievements as they advance and become skilled Noogie makers.
Further updates, including �Disturb your Opponent� bonuses, aimed towards distracting your enemy bird-feeders, will be added to the game within the next few weeks.
SpiceItApp believes in their gamers, therefore the team describes Feed the Bird as, �Not fully defined.� SpiceItApp�s CEO says that they have left specific features of the game intentionally open for their audience�s input. �It�s a working progress,� he says, �I�d recommend everyone to stay tuned and follow us on our Facebook page for contests and giveaways. We handed out two tickets to a concert just last week. Who knows what we�ll have in store next.�

The app then takes the user to the selected item and distinguishes it with a red pin on the screen.
