.... you have > emptied < your trash recently, no? Just trashing files
does not actually get rid of them until you do.
... or does one of those utilities you ran already do that?
(I empty mine regularly, so can't comment otherwise)

When I try to have a long conversation with anyone on my iPhone4, most times (but not every time) I somehow cut off the conversation by my ear or cheek hitting something on the surface of the iPhone4. I've just thought I am clumsy. I don't see anyone else yelling about this as an issue, but it continues to plague me. Or maybe I missed the conversation.
If it is a real issue with the glass surface, is there a way to lock the surface of the phone before I start my conversation. This is such a stupid bug to what is sold as a smartphone, right?
Any thoughts? jr

1. I remember 2 years ago or so reading about recognized problems with the proximity detector failing to sense the face and turn off the screen. I don't remember if the fix was to replace the phone, or upgrade the iOS, or something else. I would take it to an Apple Store to check this out.
2. Consider a good Bluetooth earphone.

Howdy.
I did the same thing until I made a habit of holding the iPhone with
one or two fingers curled around on front to make a "spacer" between my
cubby cheek and the "End" button on touch screen.

Sorry if I didn't describe what I saw in enough detail. They were digital graphics display artifacts, not ghosting on the screen. Text links would be hi-res blue text one instant, morph to black rectangles, one per character, the instant I moused over them, only to return as a group to their correct display a few seconds later. Images that no doubt were mapped to display as "slices" in html (I don't know the correct terminology) would alternately have "slice regions" of the images appear and disappear.
Again, this all went away after a reboot. I wondered at first whether it might be caused by overwhelming traffic on Apple's servers but convinced myself that was not the case by a quick look at another MacBook Pro (my wife's Core2 Duo) bezel to bezel with my own on our 802.11n WiFi network.
Any way to tell which manufacturer sourced my display? It's not available in:
System Information>
which is the only place in "About this Mac" where information about the Display itself is, well, DISPLAYED.
Thanks,
Jim Robertson

Due to continuing mail from Yahoo groups I unsubscribed months ago I changed my email address. I added a new address to my profile and used manage groups to point my mail to that address. Only one very small problem. Everything switched from Traditional to Full Featured mail.
As I said there is one very small problem. The TEXT. Its now about 8 point, instead of the about 16 point I was getting [point size estimates are based on what I see in pages]. I like the format but can't read it. Going back to traditional is a workaround, not a solution.
Is there any way to configure Apple Mail to display this Yahoo stuff [or everything] bigger. I know it can be done on an individual email but with sometimes 100 messages thats impractical.
