Scheduled to appear on stage will be UK based filmmaker and director James Tonkin of Hangman Studios. James will show the forthcoming DaVinci Resolve 10 and screen footage he has shot with the new Pocket Cinema Camera and the Blackmagic Cinema Camera. James will provide a closer look at DaVinci Resolve 10's new functionality and features and the workflow with the Blackmagic Design cameras.
Internationally-renowned consultant and Apple-Certified trainer Larry Jordan returns to the SuperMeet stage to take a closer look at Final Cut Pro X. Al Mooney of Adobe returns to show us how to create brilliant visuals more efficiently with a smoother, more integrated workflow using Adobe's Premiere Pro CC.
Filmmaker and post-production specialist Alexis Van Hurkman and Marc-Andre Ferguson of Autodesk will take us behind the scenes of "The Place Where You Live," an effects-driven short film. Alexis will show how he used Autodesk Smoke's editorial and visual effects capabilities together to hone the narrative and work with a group of international compositing artists. Alexis will share details of the production and post-production workflows he used for the film, and how he brought the project to life using Smoke.
Audio and Pro Tools expert Mike Thornton will show us how anyone can solve common audio problems, using real-world examples to highlight his techniques. Mike will teach us how to fix issues related to poor microphone placement and noisy conditions during on-location shoots. He will show us how using the soon to be released iZotope RX 3, quite possibly the world's best-sounding audio repair toolkit on the market.

Since March 2012, Resume Designer has been making job applicants look their best. Users just fill in the appropriate text fields, and the app does the rest. Starting with a cover letter and envelope, users provide basic information, and the app produces custom documents as PDFs, which can be saved, emailed, exported, printed, or uploaded.
Users can choose to create either a chronological or a functional resume by following the sample templates supplied, or they can start from scratch, with the freedom to create their own, unique resume. The app breaks down the resume content into sections, where information is formatted to ensure maximum readability. Chronological resumes include the following sections: Objective, Work Experience, Education, Interests and Activities, and References. Functional resumes include a different group of sections: Summary of Qualifications, Skills, Education, Interests and Activities, and References.
With 31 different Serif (body), Sans-Serif (header), and Display fonts, Resume Designer allows users to select classic, default page styles, or easily preview alternative styles. Fonts, justification, margins, and spacing are easily adjusted, if desired. In addition, the app makes it simple to customize resumes for specific jobs.
"By far, the feature most requested by Resume Designer owners has been the capability of uploading resumes to monster.com," said Steve Tibbett of Fall Day Software. "The Mobile Safari web browser in iOS 6 does not support uploads, and resumes cannot be emailed to monster and other sites. The solution was to add a built-in web browser to the app, specially designed to make monster.com uploads a breeze."

Users can experiment with sizing, positioning, borders, stickers, text and more at any time; there is no prescribed order in which the collage must be built. Perhaps the first design choice is between a collage or stitch layout. Stitch layouts include rectilinear, round, or shape cutouts of various sizes to accommodate each picture. Collage layouts arrange photos in various sizes against a user-selectable background, and usually include overlapping of photos, although pictures can be moved so they are non-overlapping.
"With so many collage apps out there, why have we created another?" asked Paul Yan of Pinssible Labs. "The key difference between HiCollage and similar apps is the collage-making process. The mainstream solutions, including Pic Collage and Pic Stitch, require quite a few taps to create a finished collage. Their workflows are neither efficient nor intuitive. For example, creating a four-picture collage in Pic Stitch requires at least 18 taps, whereas the same collage takes only 6 taps using HiCollage."

FuzzMeasure is an audio and acoustic measurement tool for audio and live-sound professionals that first launched in 2004 and won an Apple Design Award in 2006. The application has been used by thousands of professionals around the world ranging from loudspeaker product engineers, to live sound engineers and installers to acoustic professionals and studio engineers.
FuzzMeasure is regarded as an easy-to-use program that offers a wide range of options for visualizing measurement results. With one click, FuzzMeasure plays a swept sine wave signal to measure an impulse response (a.k.a. a transfer function) that then yields Frequency Response, Phase Response, Waterfall, and other valuable graphs that explain the behavior of an acoustic space, a loudspeaker, or even audio components.
The audio engine improvements in FuzzMeasure 3.3 open the doors to enabling stimulus playback over multiple channels at once - a long-requested product feature. In addition, the engine has been improved in such a way that audio delay values between measurements have been stabilized greatly and improve comparisons between multiple records when not using automatic correction.
"FuzzMeasure 3.3. offers a much more stable measurement experience for users that were previously unable to work with a loopback cable due to hardware restrictions," says Chris Liscio, founder, SuperMegaUltraGroovy, Inc. "The new audio engine also further improves FuzzMeasure's stability when a loopback cable is used. We urge any users that have had trouble with this feature in the past to re-evaluate its performance with this new version."
In addition to improving stability and performance, FuzzMeasure's Waterfall plug-in has been optimized for better usability. Rather than operating within a measurement record's analysis window, the Waterfall now calculates its graph using the entire impulse response measurement and stores parameters at the document level rather than the record level.
"The modifications to the Waterfall plug-in were long overdue. Comparing multiple records was very difficult when the waterfall parameters were different for every measurement," says Liscio. "I'm confident that even novice users of the product will be able to produce coherent graphs with very little friction."
