The game concept originates from a newspaper puzzle by Sam Lloyd first published in 1897.
Levels are generated by a stochastic algorithm that uses heuristics to generate innovative and surprising variations in puzzle design that are playable and fun for human players. The basic game comes with 100 levels and 10 hints. Additional level-packs and hints can be purchased from within the game with in-app purchase. The game features an 8-bit videogame look in a retro style and a haunting, ambient soundtrack.

Before long you will be rolling, jumping, bouncing, flying through the air, swinging in baskets, riding in carts, and shooting out of cannons while avoiding obstacles, booby traps and enemies to help Little Bird collect coins along the path to safety.
