iPad Mini Big Deal For Education In America - Published on 10/25/12
IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Apples announcement of the iPad Mini, and updates for iBooks 3 and the software used to create multi-touch, interactive books in iBooks Author exclusively for the iPad, are as significant as Gutenbergs development of the printing press and will continue to change the way children of all ages learn around the world, Dallas Publisher Donald Claxton said Thursday on Dallas talk radio station KLIF.
Dallas, Texas - Dallas Publisher of Books for the iPad Says Advancements For Books Are The Most Significant Since Gutenberg Invented The Printing Press
Claxton, whose company has published a 179-page interactive book about the ancient Maya with a San Diego Mayan scholar, and is completing a childrens book entitled, Theres A Zombie In My Treehouse, by authors Ken Plume and John Robinson of Atlanta, said the updates are real game changers as Apple pursues a strategy to get iPad technology into more and more classrooms worldwide.
As important, the books made for this advancing platform are being developed in DFW by his company, which includes noted authors, editors, graphic artists and 3-D animators.
With iBooks Author, which was released in late January, Apple has been able to change the way books are madewith the inclusion of hours of video, 3-D animations, interactive graphs, charts and drawings, in-chapter quizzes and moreweve even argued that the word book is no longer applicable, Claxton said. But with Tuesdays developments, theyve made changes to books as significant as Gutenbergs invention of the printing press itself.
With iBooks 3, users now have Social Media tools built into every book. A reader can highlight a portion of text and then instantly share it via Twitter, Facebook, Mail and Messages.
If youre a student and you come to a portion where youre confused or you want to ask a question, its now as simple as highlighting text in the book and then in a few clicks sharing your question via a Social Media thread, Claxton said. This is going to be significant as classrooms across America continue to introduce this technology and capabilities to their students. It is fundamentally going to change the process of learning. Imagine if you were reading a chapter, didnt understand something, and fired off an email to the author or your teacher asking them to explain it further. Thats now a reality. The hypothetical no longer exists.
Claxton also said that Apples strategy to introduce the iPad Mini wasnt as much about being able to compete with Kindles and Nooks, but rather about being able to get more and more technology into cash-strapped school districts around the country and expand the reach of digital textbooks.
Apple noted Tuesday at 80 percent of all high school curriculums in American now are available in a digital format.
Here in Dallas, Claxton Creative is leading the way in the development of these books. We are in the middle of a significant revolution in the way people learn, Claxton said. The software to make all this possible wasnt even available until late January 2012. We are just in the beginning of this process and its going to be huge, particularly for school districts.
Claxton, who served as the former communications director for Dallas ISD from 2001 until 2006, said a few months ago he had discussions with a former DISD superintendent about the costs of deploying iPads to all students in Texas public schools from grades 3-12.
During the Tuesday announcement of the iPad Mini, Apple quoted former DISD Assistant Superintendent, and now Superintendent of McAllen ISD, Dr. James Ponce.
To deploy iPads for thousands of public school students at a cost of $499 each was staggering. With the reduced costs for the iPad Mini, which starts at $329, that $170 multiplied by thousands of Texas schoolchildren can be a game changer, Claxton said. That means that last week, with a million dollars, a school district could buy 2,000 iPads. This week, that means they can buy 3,00 and thats why the iPad Mini announcement wasnt as much about doing battle with Amazon, Microsoft, Samsung and Barnes & Noble. It was about being able to put this product into the hands of schoolchildren for significantly less money and at a savings to taxpayers in the long run through reduced costs in the purchase of traditional textbooks.
According to Apple, 91 percent of all tablet searches on the Internet are doing on an iPad. Apple also said that two weeks ago, they sold the 100 millionth iPad.
Claxton said his company has been consulting with other developers on iPad technology where students are required to demonstrate proficiency in a subject before being able to move on to the next level. Imagine learning at your own pace and being able to show conclusively youve learned the material before being allowed to move to the next section. Again, this is no longer a hypothetical. Its a reality.
Books for the iPad, like the 2012 meme book Claxton developed with Dr. Mark Van Stone of Southwestern College in San Diego, 2012: Science & Prophecy of the Ancient Maya, which is available on the iBookstore, offer readers the ability to learn with greater visual aids and interactive materials.
Its like going to a museum and being encouraged to touch everything, Claxton said. With the ancient Rio Azul Masks made by the Maya more than 1,000 years ago, Claxton Creative produced 3-D replicas that are as good as it would be to hold the real thing. Thats what sets these books apart from the rest, and again, were only in the infancy of this new technology. Just wait a few years.
Dr. Van Stones book produced by Claxton Creative, can be purchased in 32 countries worldwide: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Demonstrations of many of the new developments are available on ClaxtonCreative.com.

Demonstrations of many of the new developments are available on ClaxtonCreative.

Languages Brings Offline Translation to the iPhone - Published on 10/25/12
IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Tapity and Sonico Mobile have teamed up to create Languages 1.0.1, the first truly mobile translation app that anyone can afford. Languages functions completely offline so users can depend on it wherever they go and supports: Spanish-English, German-English, French-English, Italian-English, Dutch-English, Portuguese-English, Swedish-English, French-Italian, French-Spanish, German-French, German-Italian and German-Spanish.
Graz, Austria - Tapity, an Apple Design Award winning app company, and Sonico Mobile, the makers of the most popular translation apps in the world, teamed up to create Languages, the first truly mobile translation app that anyone can afford.
Most translator apps become useless when you don't have an internet connection (like when you are traveling overseas) but Languages functions completely offline so you can depend on it wherever you go. Offline translation generally runs you $5-$20 per language but Languages includes 12 language dictionaries for an intro price of just a buck. You only need to download the dictionaries you want to use (at no extra cost). Then you are able to use them in Antarctica, on the Space Station, or wherever you may be. It seems like magic, but it's true.
Languages supported: Spanish-English, German-English, French-English, Italian-English, Dutch-English, Portuguese-English, Swedish-English, French-Italian, French-Spanish, German-French, German-Italian and German-Spanish.
The innovative interface makes using the app very pleasant. Using the app may even make you want to start studying foreign languages! Wherever you travel, whomever you talk to - you don't need to worry about a thing. Languages will become your true traveling companion.
This version brings iOS 6 and iPhone 5 screen support, so it will run perfectly on new devices. Everyone who needs reliable translation wherever they are should pick it up on the Apple App Store.

Enterprise Device Alliance Members Deliver iOS 6 Support for iPhone/iPad - Published on 10/25/12
IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The members of the Enterprise Device Alliance (EDA) today announced support for Apple's iOS 6.0 operating system software in enterprise environments. Using these solutions will ease the deployment, integration and management of Apple mobile devices. These solutions address issues such as endpoint management - Absolute Software; identity and access management - Centrify; multi-platform file access, synching and sharing - GroupLogic, an Acronis company; and desktop virtualization - Parallels.
Sunnyvale, California - The members of the Enterprise Device Alliance (EDA) today announced support for Apple's iOS 6.0 operating system software for iPhone and iPad in enterprise environments. The cross-platform solutions available from the Enterprise Device Alliance members deliver services for iOS 6 and help organizations transition from current and previous versions to iOS 6 on all versions of the iPhone including the iPhone 5, and on all tablets including the iPad 4 and the iPad Mini.
Each member of the Enterprise Device Alliance provides products that allow organizations to leverage their existing investment in Windows management and administration infrastructure to manage both Mac and iOS systems. EDA members provide additional integration and functionality in key areas of the business that are important to deployments in enterprise environments. These solutions address issues such as endpoint management - Absolute Software; identity and access management - Centrify; multi-platform file access, synching and sharing - GroupLogic(R), an Acronis(R) company; and desktop virtualization - Parallels.
"With the growing dominance of iPhones and iPads in business, government, educational institutions of all sizes, and the near real-time deployment of upgrades of iOS, it's critical that organizations be able to secure, manage and integrate new iOS releases as soon as they become available," said T. Reid Lewis, president of the Enterprise Device Alliance. "All of the EDA members are committed to making sure that an environment of mixed PCs, Macs and mobile devices such as the latest iPhones and iPads is both successful for the users and manageable for the IT administrators."
The individual member companies' iOS 6 support includes:
Absolute Software -
Absolute Software currently supports iOS6 devices. With the native cross platform capabilities available with Absolute Manage, Absolute customers can manage and secure just about every device and operating system from a single console. They rely on Absolute to respond quickly to new releases so they can continue to provide their end users with access to the latest hardware models and operating systems available today. Absolute Manage 6.1.3 is the most recent release from Absolute Software and includes additional innovations that will improve efficiencies for IT administrators. The new software payload transfer capability allows customers to forego the time-consuming process of recreating software payload and software license definitions at each distribution point. Now these definitions can be exported and imported between distribution points, enhancing scalability and reducing administrative time and effort.
Centrify -
DirectControl for Mobile and the free Express for Mobile offerings support the Apple iOS 6 operating system for iPhones and iPads, enabling organizations to leverage Centrify's proven cloud-based security service to manage users and devices and address enterprise mobility and BYOD challenges. The Centrify solution maximizes security and visibility through centralized management and reporting of enrolled devices and installed applications, allowing IT staff to quickly and securely bring large populations of Apple and Android devices under management without having to deploy additional infrastructure, learn new skill sets, or operate yet another management console. Both DirectControl for Mobile and Express for Mobile, provide unparalleled integration with an organization's on-premise Active Directory (AD) infrastructure and Group Policy-based management tools to easily enforce and update mobile security settings. From locking or remotely wiping devices to securing access to email
networks and enforcing use of passcodes, the Centrify solution enables administrators to easily assign devices to users and manage the associated properties and settings for each user's device.
GroupLogic -
GroupLogic mobilEcho(R) 4.0.1 has been certified by GroupLogic's quality assurance engineers with iOS 6 on iPhone and iPad. mobilEcho for iPhone and iPad provides secure, managed access to documents on file servers, network attached storage (NAS) and Microsoft(R) SharePoint(R) document libraries. mobilEcho on iOS 6 integrates with activEcho 2.5.1 to provide an enterprise-managed alternative to consumer solutions such as Dropbox(TM) for file sharing and synching.
Parallels -
The Parallels Mobile app for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch supports iOS 6. It works with Parallels Desktop for Mac Enterprise Edition and makes it simple to remotely access and run everything on your Mac, including OS X, Windows and even Windows 8 apps. Parallels Mobile supports the new iPad's Retina display when used with a Retina Mac, so your high-resolution OS X and Windows applications and files look brilliant and sharp. MacMate takes on Google, Dropbox and Microsoft with MacMate Disk - Published on 10/25/12
IMMEDIATE RELEASE
MacMate, which rocketed to success in April when it launched as an Apple MobileMe replacement, has announced the first major update since June: adding Calendar sharing, an iOS App, introducing two new packages and increasing the storage on its current Pro version to a whopping 25gig. As a viable alternative for many users looking at cloud-disk services like Dropbox, Google Drive and Microsoft's SkyDrive services, MacMate delivers an easier, simpler, powerful solution with more added features.
Bodmin, United Kingdom - MacMate already provides the easiest way to host iWeb sites and a great iDisk replacement with its cloud disk service. As a viable alternative for many users looking at cloud-disk services like Dropbox, Google Drive and Microsoft's SkyDrive services, MacMate delivers an easier, simpler, yet powerful solution with more and more added features.
Calendars - Host and Share:
The MacMate team have aimed to address two issues here; iCloud calendar hosting only works for new operating systems, leaving previous version of Mac OS X (up to 10.6) with no way to host and share their calendars between devices; Additionally, calendar sharing is also addressed, so that now any calendar can be shared on a read only, write and "free slots" basis to any other MacMate user - particularly useful for sharing calendars at the same domain within a business, but also sharing between friends and family. The services works with iCal, on iPhone/iPad, via a browser webmail interface and on any other standard CalDav client on Windows, Android and Linux platforms. Calendars is included with every MacMate email address and is as simple to setup as entering your email address and password. MacMate's website invite its users to "Make a date with calendars."
Increased Storage - Now Massive 25gig:
MacMate "Pro" - essentially the previous version of MacMate - has been upgraded to 25gig of online storage as standard with new Gallery themes and a completely re-engineered web-based control interface making it even easier to manage. The new MacMate Control interface simplifies everything including single click hosting and domain control and support for its imminent true multi-site support (MacMate already supports multiple sites in the way MobileMe did but will have the ability to create completely separate sites at separate domains at an extra small nominal fee per site).
The 3 Amigos - MacMate Now Comes In Three Spicy Flavours:
MacMate Disk at just $39.00 USD per year featuring 5gig of online cloud storage, 1x email with domain support and unlimited calendar hosting. This entry level is aimed directly at the Google Drive and iCloud users, offering a great entry level price for cloud storage, domain-based email and calendars. This makes MacMate Disk one of the most cost effective ways to get powerful business-class email on your Mac and mobile devices, fast online backup and storage or portability of important files and, of course, the new calender feature. Businesses wanting to share calendars for example, could buy MacMate Disk, add their domain, add email accounts, share their calendars for just $15.00 each per year.
MacMate Classic at just $59.00 per year features double the storage at 10gig and galleries support - albeit with limited themes - perfect for that extra bit of storage and to start photo sharing and photo backups (images are stored full resolution, but served at lower resolutions on the fly).
Just 7 Simple Rules:
One of the important features of its cloud storage is that there is no complicated end user agreement or terms and conditions - just 7 simple rules. Other cloud storage services have come under fire from consumers for the lengthy, incomprehensible and intrusive licensing agreements, often handing over full ownership of data stored to the provider of the service. Gary Hall, CEO stated "No one is a fan of those endless scrolls of terms and conditions, no one reads them, no one understands them and certainly no one wants to agree to all of their ridiculous terms. So with MacMate we wanted to make the terms simple. Just 7 easy-to-understand statements defining the guidelines and our service for the user and from us as a company."
With a brand new website, a brand new simplified support website and a free and powerful iOS app to boot - "MacMate now packs a massive punch and has defined itself as not just a MobileMe replacement but a MobileMe successor", added Barry Rhodes, Lead Developer, "We've looked at every single part of the original MacMate, listened to what our customers wanted and have re-engineered it to be simpler, faster and better - including a new million dollar infrastructure across three data-centers on opposite sides of the world. Our team is working on continuous enhancements and new features."
Demo versions are available free of charge, please email press@macmate.me for a discount code to use.

Cinefy, a revolutionary new special FX studio, was released today for iOS. Hot on the heels of popular apps like Action Movie FX, Cinefy 1.1.5 allows iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch users to create videos with over 100 Hollywood quality special effects. Cinefy includes impressive effects created by Hollywood industry veterans.
West Chester, Pennsylvania - Cinefy, a revolutionary new special FX studio, was released today for iOS. Hot on the heels of popular apps like Action Movie FX, Cinefy 1.1.5 allows iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch users to create videos with over 100 Hollywood quality special effects.
"We took a look at the competition and tried to figure out where they went wrong." Said Daniel Hellerman, CEO of App Creation Network, and project lead for Cinefy. "Other apps were charging users $1 for just one or two effects, we wanted to change that. For that same amount, we are offering users over 100 special effects to use in their videos. In addition to all the effects, we realized users don't want to be limited to 15 second clips, our editor allows users to create scenes as long as they need them to be. Users can even create layered effects with exported video, allowing for incredible creativity within the app. When users are done creating their movies in Cinefy, they can export them into more robust editors like iMovie, or simply share the videos with their friends to create the perfect Hollywood experience"
Launching worldwide today, Cinefy includes some impressive effects created by Hollywood industry veterans.
"Have your friends be chased by a T-Rex, duck to avoid incoming missile fire from an attack helicopter, run from the loch ness monster, even pilot your own starship" says Hellerman. "The possibilities are endless. The ability to construct the movies of your dreams, with a device that fits in the palm of your hands is incredible. Just from our limited release and early beta tests, we received some incredible videos. My jaw dropped at the creativity some of our users showed. One of my favorite parts was seeing users combine effects from our competition alongside Cinefy's effects. The video was astounding, and it was a great example of the flexibility Cinefy provides."
To see all the effects, download a copy of Cinefy today for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

* iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

IMMEDIATE RELEASE
No Monkeys today introduces The King vs. Knights, Vikings, Wizards & other Scoundrels 1.0 free for iOS, their retro arcade game that combines classic, single screen, arcade action with the latest HD graphics & animation. Finely crafted with ingenious power-ups, it is an ever-changing game of pachinko.
Eindhoven, Netherlands - No Monkeys today is pleased to introduce The King vs. Knights, Vikings, Wizards & other Scoundrels 1.0 free for iOS, their retro arcade game that combines classic, single screen, arcade action with the latest HD graphics & animation. Players help the King defend a medieval tower from scoundrels scaling the wall. Wooden kegs are his only weapons, which must be aimed and released so they fall on the primary target and then bounce off to hit other enemy targets. Featuring finely tuned gameplay and ingenious power-ups, it is an ever-changing game of pachinko that grabs the player's anticipation of pinball action and reaction and never lets go.
Feature Highlights:
* Simple controls: touch to aim, release to fire
* Fun and unique gameplay with realistic physics
* Awesome upgradeable power-ups
* Dozens of fun quests to complete
* Try your luck in the King's Arcade mini game
* Universal app, supports all screen sizes, including the new iPhone 5
* Game Center Achievements and Leaderboards
* FREE to play
The King vs. Knights, Vikings, Wizards & other Scoundrels is played in portrait orientation, with the King, in royal robes and crown, dropping wooden kegs on attackers scaling a medieval tower. With detailed, Retina-display ready graphics and animation, players touch the screen to guide the King's aim and release to let the keg fall. Attackers all climb at the same slow and steady pace, but some are more easily removed than others. Peasants are knocked unconscious, with stars orbiting around their heads, after being hit by a keg just once. Knights must be hit twice to have them fall to the ground and disappear. Vikings, protected by horned helmets, must be struck four times (2 hits to remove the 2 horns, another hit to remove the helmet, and a final hit to kill the Viking).
Jesters are the only members of the mob who can move to evade an oncoming keg, making them difficult targets. Wizards on the ground can protect and boost single attackers by firing violet electrical fields. Also on the ground, archers fire arrows into the tower wall, which deflect oncoming kegs, while flaming arrows deflect and explode. The first to reach the top of the tower climbs over, attacks the King, and throws him over to his death, ending the round. Gold coins and power-ups appear on the screen intermittently, and they can be won by hitting them with a keg.
The realistic game physics of falling kegs bouncing off climbing attackers is enough to capture and hold the player's full attention. However, the designers have integrated an elaborate system of super-scoring power-ups to allow players to compete globally via Game Center for top position on Leaderboards, Achievements, and Challenges. As they accumulate gold coins, tower defenders can unlock power-ups that can be upgraded at increasingly higher costs. Lasting up to 11 shots, power-ups intensify the action and increase the pace of gameplay. Upgradeable power-ups include: a keg-trajectory guide line, explosive kegs, a gold coin magnet, rapid reload of kegs, and conversion of coins into gemstones. Also included are hidden tricks (e.g., kill a Viking with a single hit instead of 4), challenging quests, and special defensive and offensive abilities.
"Great arcade games all have these qualities in common: a simple premise, easy controls, a ladder of increasingly potent power-ups, and fun emergent gameplay," commented Dennis Sijnen of No Monkeys. "Our game is an homage to those classics, now with High Definition graphics and animation plus touch control."
Device Requirements:
* iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
* Requires iOS 4.3 or later
* Universal app optimized for display on all iOS devices
* 44.2 MB
Pricing and Availability:
The King vs. Knights, Vikings, Wizards & other Scoundrels 1.0 is free and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Games category. Players may supplement gold coins earned during gameplay via an in-app purchase starting at $0.99 (USD).

Obama and Romney Both Get 'Bashed' by Voters Yielding iPhones - Published on 10/26/12
IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Clever Fox Software announces Bash the Vote 1.10 for iOS. Candidates duck for cover as passionate citizens let digital mallets fly in this new mobile app that allows pollsters to measure the national mood while voters release their pre-election steam. In the spirit of a fast-paced carnival game, players around the country cast their votes with digital mallets. All votes are added to a National Bash Tally that determines Clever Fox's charitable donation to a candidate's wife's affiliated charity.
Orlando, Florida - Clever Fox Software is pleased to announce the immediate availability of it's new mobile application Bash the Vote 1.10. Bash the Vote operates as a live national poll as users around the country cast their votes with 'bashes' to determine the overall election result. The concept is very straightforward and similar in style to a fast paced carnival game. The player must whack the moving head of the candidate they don't like with a mallet while avoiding their presidential pick. There are 30 seconds on the clock to vote with the hammer as many times as possible while the White House hopefuls duck for cover. At the end of the game all of the players bashed votes are added to the 'National Bash Tally' which tracks the running totals from around the country.
"We were really surprised to suddenly see our little poll getting so much user attention." said Clever Fox developer A J OToole. "That's what we love about developing for mobile - you can come up with an interesting little social experiment, put it out there and just see what happens."
"For the expert bashers we added a 'Bonus Bash' feature to unlock extra time." said developer Phil Bias. "As with anything political we have some very passionate players on both sides of the fence. One individual player has already bashed President Obama close to 50,000 times and logged countless hours of gameplay just to support his candidate". An Apple Game Center leader board displays high scores and allows players to compete online. The 'National Bash Tally' is fast approaching 1 million bashed votes with just weeks left until election day.
As well as being independent developers the Clever Fox team are also independent voters. The main menu displays a countdown to election day, and a large Remember to Vote button links out to an information page on how to register and vote in the upcoming presidential election. The team say that beneath the bashes and bruises the app carries a simple reminder "'Bash the Vote' demonstrates true power in numbers as each citizen whacks away for their candidate. Similarly we feel that everyone should make a strong effort to vote for the next President on November 6th and participate in the process wherever possible."
A Twitter feed allows players to continue to track the poll and tweet comments after their bashed votes have been submitted. The 'National Bash Tally' will stop counting bashes at midnight on election night. After the final bash is tallied and the Bash the Vote winner is officially announced on Twitter, Clever Fox plans to make their own version of a campaign donation. A Bash the Vote win for Obama will mean a charitable contribution to his wife Michelle's childhood obesity initiative Let's Move. A win for Romney will see the donation go towards an equally good cause, The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, of which his wife Ann Romney is an active board member.
Device Requirements:
* 3/4/5 Gen iPhone, iPad, or 3/4/5 Gen iPod touch
* Requires iOS 5.0 or later
* Universal app optimized for display on all iOS devices
* 32.9 MB

iLogic-Hero for iPad: Quick-Logic-Adventure for Logic and Riddle Fans - Published on 10/26/12
IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Marian Computer Consulting introduces its second Quick-Logic-Adventure for the iPad, iLogic-Hero 1.1. iLogic Hero is a medieval hero adventure combining interesting and funny animals with mysterious landscapes, dragons and magic. As a young knight, the player tries to save the missing princess through adventures that require logical reasoning. The unique combination of logic and adventure, exciting brain training and replayability, makes iLogic-Hero a fun to play game for all ages.
Vienna, Austria - After the great success of its previous app, iLogic-Crimes, the Austrian software developer Marian Computer Consulting (CCM2000) is launching its second Quick Logic Adventure for the iPad. The app game "iLogic-Hero" offers lots of adventuring fun, whilst training the brain at the same time. It is available now globally in the App Store for 1.59. iLogic Hero is designed for puzzlers and fans of mystery and logic.
Thanks to its various levels of difficulty iLogic Hero will not only interest younger players, but also offers a sufficient challenge for adults. iLogic Hero caters for all age groups and is recommend for ages 7 to 107. The game principally trains logical reasoning, powers of deduction and the memory. The design of the iPad app also allows exciting puzzling together with family or friends on one device. Furthermore, it is perfect for brain or logic training for school.
iLogic Hero is a medieval hero adventure combining interesting and funny animals with mysterious landscapes, dragons and magic aplenty. As a young knight, the player tries to save the missing princess. He can only accomplish this through logical reasoning. The player must try to cooperate with the animals in the forest to get clues about the princess' whereabouts. He has the ability to speak with the animals and ask them various questions, through which he can find out important pieces of information from up to 20 animals such as ants, geckos, crocodiles, worms, foxes, monkeys and hippos. This relates on the one hand to the animals, their habits and preferences, and on the other hand to the princess. One of the animals saw the princess a few hours ago; another is a very good tracking animal and can help the knight to find out more about the princess' whereabouts. If needed, one animal will also support the knight and accompany him to dangerous places, for example the magician's
castle or the dragon's cave. Using his powers of deduction the knight must find the correct animal to help him. However, the animals often speak very mysteriously to keep the search challenging.
With the instincts of a detective the knight pieces the clues together and, using the information gained, establishes a pattern from the characteristics, locations or groups of the animals. Using clever reasoning and by drawing logical conclusions the player can find the princess and bring her back to the king's castle. Every search for the princess is rated and the player receives points and achievements for their efforts.
The game offers thousands of different combinations of clues as well as 6 different stories regarding where the princess is hiding and what has happened to her. Every game is different and therefore long-lasting fun is guaranteed.
The innovative "Quick Logic Adventures" (QLA) game idea has already enthused many fans. The iLogic-Crimes app (a logical detective game), which was also developed by Marian Computer Consulting, was the number 1 iPad game in several countries and was consistently ranked amongst the top Apps in the App Store.
Device Requirements:
* Requires iPad with iOS 4.3 or later
* 82.1 MB
Pricing and Availability:
iLogic-Hero 1.1 is $1.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Games category.

Track the Ripper is an interactive mobile movie that allows the user to return to 1888 and take control of the investigation, gathering clues to build a profile of the Ripper.
