Melsoft has announced Halloween Nightmare, an update to their popular game Toy Defense for iOS devices. The new holiday level reinvigorates the classic tower defense genre with creepy characters, refined graphics, original sound effects and hits the AppStore just in time for the spooky season. With painstaking attention to detail, the game employs advanced AI algorithms that allow up to 40 individual infantry, anti-aircraft, flamethrower, or artillery emplacements to target & fire independently.

Toy Defense is historically based, WWI tower defense/sim Game. Featuring graphics and animation with painstaking attention to detail, the game employs advanced AI algorithms that allow up to 40 individual infantry, anti-aircraft, flamethrower, or artillery emplacements to target and fire independently. Players are engaged throughout gameplay with strategic and tactical decisions that unfold in ultra-realistic sound and visual battle effects.

The battle takes place in scary night scenery lit up by candle lights and carved pumpkins. In the fight against enemy forces, users have to eliminate pumpkin head soldiers, explosive coffin tanks, devil aircrafts and other evil spirits.
The action becomes more intense as users proceed with the game. The level includes 35 attacking waves in total, all with different scenarios and enemy forces involved. The game is accompanied by authentic sound effects and seasonal 'Happy Halloween' greetings which help players plunge into the dark atmosphere.
