Just plug it in to the same computer you currently use for the iPod 2G.
Then just follow the dialog boxes to setup your "new" iPod. :)

Hi,
I am going to set up my Windows laptop with iTunes. What do I need to
do to move any data from the desktop to laptop? The only content is
apps, no music or other media at this point. Thanks.
