Goal is to have every album of all artist of my liking. Minus bootlegs, unless they are good copies. A lot of the bootlegs I've come across have poor audio.

What's your goal?
Michelle

30000 and counting from classic rock to classical. Every genre you can think of besides rap...NO RAP!!!

Bootleg, as in pirated copies? So in other words if it has poor audio,
you have to actually buy the real song? Hmmm, interesting concept. But
that explains why one could gather that many songs. In that case I will
never even come close. ;)

Bootlegs are usually amateur recordings from a concert, some groups encouraged them.

That's an interesting goal, what happens when you reach it? I've collected
music over the years but always let go of my collection and
started over. First it was records and reel to reel, the cassetts, now it's
mp3. It's all transitiory. Now I enjoy music I've never heard of before.
Music is music.

Good luck with your collection

There is always new artist coming along. I have thousands of LP's and 45's. The artists that have come along, since LP's became dinosaurs, I have as mp3's, but I have also converted the open LP's into mp3's. I guess I enjoy music to the extreme.

Most of mine are from original albums. A good chunk are converted from LP's that have been open or CD's that I already had.
