My iPod has decided not to connect with the home network anymore. Any
suggestions on how to get it to connect again? All laptops on the network work
well. So the router isn't kaput. I have totally shut down the iPod and
restarted it with no luck. It sees the network but will not accept the password
anymore. This is frustrating.
Thanks,
Don

Have you tried renewing the network's lease?
If that doesnt work, resetting your wifi router might help. First try by
using the "reboot router" button in the router's user interface. If the
doesn't work, try disconnecting the router's power supply/cable for at
least 60 seconds.

Thanks for suggestion. I had already powered off the network, waited for a bit,
and then powered it on again, modem then router. iPod will still not connect
even though it identifies the network exists. Strange since the iPod had been
working on the network well until sometime last night. No storms or such in the
area (except Sandy off shore). Am going to power down network and iPod again
and let all sit for a longer period before powering up to see if such a rest
period will help out.

This isn't specifically something I've done with an iPod but I have done
it with a number of my customers.
If worse comes to worse try completely turning off the security for your
router temporarily (write down how it was set if you think you can't
remember the settings) and then reboot the router.
Make your iPod 'Forget' your network and reboot it also.
Then try making a connection with your iPod. If it can connect then go
ahead and re-setup whatever security you had (maybe with a new password)
and reboot everything, and try to re-establish continence using the iPod.
