Thanks.  Although I have yet to figure out why my iPod ceased to connect to our
home network after being connected for a significant time, it is now connected
and running as if it has never been disconnected.  Amazing world of electronics!

This isn't specifically something I've done with an iPod but I have done
it with a number of my customers.

If worse comes to worse try completely turning off the security for your
router temporarily (write down how it was set if you think you can't
remember the settings) and then reboot the router.

Make your iPod 'Forget' your network and reboot it also.

Then try making a connection with your iPod. If it can connect then go
ahead and re-setup whatever security you had (maybe with a new password)
and reboot everything, and try to re-establish continence using the iPod.

I have lost my keystroke sounds, and I checked under sounds that the box is
still "on", I also checked my volume and it's all the way up, does anyone
have any ideas?

Try going to Music, select and play a song. While it's playing, adjust the
volume down to 50% and then back up tp full. Then check your keyboard
sounds.

Or try turning turning off or resetting the device.
Worked for me when I lost the "click" when I pressed the sleep button.
