I bought an Apple TV, and in the process of exploring it I tried to play music from iTunes on my iMac only to get the message that I had to sign up for iTunes Match to access the music. I never considered doing this before and seem to remember that there were disadvantages, including no longer having an up-to-date library installed on your devices if you were not in a position where you could connect with iCloud.
I've learned to be leery about my memory about stuff like that, and much of what I got about iTunes Match from a Google search seemed to be somewhat dated, so I decided to ask for opinions here. Would anyone here please help me on this?
Thanks,
.................Mike

I saved the images from my iPhone to iPhoto on my iMac. I have set iPhoto to open any images for editing in CS5. What's so difficult about that? My issue is that different images from the same photography session on the iPhone4 open sometimes in CS5 RAW and sometimes in CS5 Photoshop. That doesn't make any sense to me? They are the same session shots w exact settings from the same iphone, stored in the same iPhoto on the same iMac. Why?

I see, it's when you *edit* them, but I can't help with the "why?" when it
comes to RAW as this is not a format any iPhone produces (AFAIK).
