The process of completing a Life Inventory does not directly address anyone's specific problems or addictions, but rather helps the user examine in detail events that have transpired in their life. The Life Inventory app gently assists the user in probing into not only what happened, but also why it happened. The questions asked help the user delve into areas often never considered before, like:
* What did I want?
* Why did I want it?
* What am I not admitting?
* What lie did I tell myself?
* What did I leave out or not say?
* What lie did I tell others?
* Have I ever done the same thing?
* Was it any of my business?
* Were my expectations reasonable?
* What was the real truth?
* What was I not seeing?
* Did I fail to see the facts of the situation?
* What actions did I take to get what I wanted?
* What actions did I omit to get what I wanted?
Life Inventory for iPad guides the user through six different steps, each with its own activity grouping, for making a Life Inventory in writing:
* Build Lists
* Causes and Effects
* My Part
* Fears Analysis
* Fear Questions
* Sex Relations
Throughout the process, users are encouraged to write out their Inventory, be completely honest about themselves and take advantage of encouragement and support.
The Inventory begins by making one simple list, which defines four fixed Categories in which to file away what are broadly categorized as Incidents:
* People
* Institutions and Organizations
* Principles, Ideals and Beliefs
* Sources of Anxiety and Excitement
Each of the four Categories will contain hierarchical sub-categories. From there, users outline Entities and then individual Incidents.
Step-by-step, users complete the Causes and Effects of each Incident. Next, users determine the part they played in each Incident listed. It is not unusual to create hundreds of Incident forms, each devoted to a single incident. The app includes the ability to create and save all written lists and forms with password protection. Having completed all their Incident forms, users can refer to these forms to help list all their Fears. The app includes the following eight pre-defined fears, to which the user is free to add:

* Financial insecurity

* Where was I at fault?
* What should I have done instead?
* What will I do in the future?
* Did I pray or have spiritual conversations with him/her?
* Did I pray for him/her?
* Did I enjoy his/her company?
* Did we bring each other closer to God?

The game, played by two people, revolves around clever and challenging player selection of squares to reveal clues to the picture hidden beneath those squares. The first person to guess what the picture is wins. Some people who have previewed the game say that it is reminiscent of Wheel of Fortune. But instead of figuring out a phrase, First Sight players use small visual clues to guess what is pictured beneath the game board. Players can also choose from several different levels of progressively more challenging First Sight.
"First Sight is adaptable, offering something for everyone," explains Jason Shurgot, Cazooie Co-Founder. "You don't have to be artistically gifted, tech-savvy, or have an extensive vocabulary to win, and the game is fun for all ages. Friends can play friends, grandparents can play their grandchildren, husbands can play their wives, and daughters can play their dads."
First Sight uses pictures of everyday objects as game pieces. New images are added daily. Players can unlock different game play backgrounds and can upload game piece photos to add them to the FiRST SiGHT database. The more images players upload, the more different pictures are available for all players to use. So First Sight is constantly fueled by members of the gaming community. That satisfies the urges of players who like to be involved on an interactive level as game developers. But others, who just want to enjoy playing, will see their games upgrade automatically with more cool graphics. All they have to do is play. Each time they initiate a game FiRST SiGHT will become more interesting and visually rich and stimulating.
Every player's experience is also unique, too, because the game uses multiple images. Two people may get the same answer, for instance, but each will see a different picture of the game piece object. Thought Store allows users to record thoughts, ideas and other pieces of information such as web addresses or photos in one convenient place; by automatically tagging each item with the location, time and date of creation, the app can provide advanced searching based on these more memorable properties, ensuring items can be easily retrieved when required.
Version 2.0 adds the ability to associate contacts from your Address Book with any thought, allowing searching to be performed based on who you were with when you entered a particular thought; it also provides much improved sharing of thoughts and ideas, using email, Twitter, SMS and iMessage (where available), as well as many small usability enhancements.
"We are all constantly bombarded with information: suggestions from friends for films, books or web sites we might enjoy, ideas of gifts for friends and family sparked while shopping, or potential business connections mentioned during a chance meeting. Oxford, United Kingdom - Smoky Cat Software today announced that Thought Store v2.0 for iPhone(R) and iPod touch(R) is now available on the App Store, with all profits from sales donated to UK charity Sands. Thought Store allows users to record thoughts, ideas and other pieces of information such as web addresses or photos in one convenient place; by automatically tagging each item with the location, time and date of creation, the app can provide advanced searching based on these more memorable properties, ensuring items can be easily retrieved when required.
Version 2.0 adds the ability to associate contacts from your Address Book with any thought, allowing searching to be performed based on who you were with when you entered a particular thought; it also provides much improved sharing of thoughts and ideas, using email, Twitter, SMS and iMessage (where available), as well as many small usability enhancements.
"We are all constantly bombarded with information: suggestions from friends for films, books or web sites we might enjoy, ideas of gifts for friends and family sparked while shopping, or potential business connections mentioned during a chance meeting. But how often do you move onto something else and struggle to remember those little snippets later on?" asks Thomas Wright, founder of Smoky Cat Software. "Perhaps you remember where you were when it happened, that it was around midday, or that it was last December? But even if it's in your phone or computer, that doesn't always help if you can't find the right words or phrases to use for searching. Thought Store was created to solve this everyday problem."
Any "thought" entered into Thought Store can be one of:
* plain text (which can optionally be dictated using Siri(R) on compatible devices)
* A sketch, traced with a finger or stylus on the screen of the device
* A web address (URL)
* A photo, either taken with the device's camera or selected from the user's Photo Library
Searching can then be performed to return only those "thoughts" matching one of the following criteria:
* Those items added within a user-defined locality
* Those items added around a particular time of day
* Those items added within a specified period of a certain date
* Those items tagged with a particular contact from your Address Book
* Text within the item itself
"Thoughts" can also be grouped into lists to keep related items together, and emailed for sharing with others. Optimized graphics are provided for use on a retina display and iPhone 5, where available.

MileBug for iPhone now supports the larger screen of the iPhone 5 giving greater access for input, larger maps, and larger report preview. Now supporting iOS 6, MileBug still supports older versions back to iOS 4.3. User requested changes to data entry have also been added as well as a new color scheme. MileBug helps those driving their own vehicles for business, or other reasons, receive their reimbursement and/or tax deduction.
American Fork, Utah - MileBug, the popular iPhone mileage log app for tracking business miles, now supports iOS 6 and the larger iPhone 5 screen! This means a greater viewing area for both maps and reports, as well as data entry forms. Additionally, MileBug now sports a new color scheme of green and black. Due to the needed upgrade, the minimum iOS supported is now 4.3, requiring an iPhone 3Gs or later model iPhone, but still supporting all models of iPad, including the new iPad Mini, through the 2x magnifier feature.
With just 2 weeks in the App Store, MileBug 2.5 has already received 243 ratings with an average of 4.5 stars.
Back in 2008, just 2 weeks after the iPhone SDK was announced, plans were started for the development of MileBug. It eventually went live in the App Store on August 25th, 2008 as one of only 2600 apps then available in the store. As with many of the early apps, MileBug was priced at $7.99. Over 40 copies were sold that first day. Over time the price has fluctuated, a free version became available, and MileBug continues to be a popular Finance app, consistently appearing in the Finance Top 20 for the past 3 1/2 years, and achieving over 215,000 downloads between the full and lite versions.
