It is possible, but not with iTunes.
There are many applications, at least for Windows systems, that can convert
almost any video file into a playable DVD, even with menus, subtitles, and
different audio tracks. Only one video file per DVD or multiple video files
in one DVD, as in music videos. Some of them are free, but with less
features, such as Freemake Video Converter, some are not free and have many
different settings, such as AVS Video Converter or Any DVD Converter.
Search the web for these tools (and many more) and pick your choice!

Thanks, I do have several video editing programs that allows you to create a DVD, but I thought a) there might be a way of doing it in iTunes, or b) the video file is somehow protected from doing this outside of iTunes??

Is there any way to add other tunes/tones to the ones already associated with
the iPod clock function to use as the alarm sound?

Of the alarm sound available with the iPod clock only a very few are interesting to me like 'trill'. What I'd like to know is if other sounds are available, from whom and how do I get those sounds into the sound folder for the iPod alarm clock in order to use it in the future as an alarm. Thanks.
