The Creative Pro Group Network have announced that the stage show has now been set for the Third Annual CPUG London SuperMeet, to take place at the Kensington Conference and Event Centre in London England on Friday, 28 June 2013. Oscar winning film editor Tom Rolf is set to headline. Doors to the SuperMeet will open at about 17:00 with the SuperMeet Digital Showcase, featuring over a dozen software and hardware developers.
Los Angeles, California / Boston Massachusetts - The Creative Pro Group Network have announced that the stage show has now been set for the Third Annual CPUG London SuperMeet, to take place at the Kensington Conference and Event Centre in London England on Friday, 28 June 2013. Tickets to the the London SuperMeet can be purchased at the SuperMeet web site for only 10.00 GBP plus ticket fee or 8.00 GBP for Students and Teachers.
Scheduled to appear on stage will be Oscar winning film editor Tom Rolf. Tom is perhaps best known for editing Martin Scorsese's TAXI DRIVER (for which he received a British Film Academy nomination). He was awarded an Academy Award for Best Film Editing for Philip Kaufman's THE RIGHT STUFF. In addition to ACE Eddie nominations for THE HORSE WHISPERER and THE RIGHT STUFF, Rolf also received the ACE Eddie Award in 1984 for his work on WARGAMES and a Career Achievement Award from ACE. There will be plenty of time to take questions from the audience.
Blackmagic Design will invite award-winning filmmaker James Tonkin to the stage and James will show a preview of the forthcoming DaVinci Resolve 10, providing a closer look at the new version's overall functionality, and showing off new features not seen at the recent Las Vegas Supermeet at 2013 NAB Show.
Adobe's Niels Stevens will show off the various Video Tools included in the just announced Adobe Creative Cloud subscription service. With Creative Cloud, Adobe has brought powerful new features to their industry-leading video and audio tools.
You've got a great camera, you've got a great editor - how do you manage everything between them? Simon Walker and team Red Giant will demonstrate "BulletProof," a complete media prep and delivery solution that simplifies how you handle footage every day.
Director and animator Kristina Yee will screen "MISS TODD," a student film which just won Ms. Yee a gold medal as Best Foreign Film from the recent Student Academy Awards in Los Angeles. This was the first time an animated film has won the prize since the launch of the awards in 1972. Kristina will be joined on stage by members of her team, and the film will screen in its entirety.
Rounding out the evening will be the always crazy and wild "World Famous Raffle" where dozens of lucky people will go home with thousands of Pounds worth of valuable software and hardware. Current value of the raffle list is now over GBP19,000.00 (GBP)
