Very interesting. I have an iPod 1 and iPhone 5. Both have the Find iPhone app. Both list all the toys I have...phone, iPod 1 and 3, iPad 3. Both will find everything but the iPod 1. Both list it as offline even though it is connected to wireless. As are the others.

I used to have an iPod touch 2nd generation and there was no option for Icloud or find my iPhone. The first time I seen that option was when I got the 4th gen iPod touch.

Find my iPhone/iPod is supported on the 4th generation iPod and higher. The icloud feature is also not supported on that device.

Hi, I'm trying to set up Find iPhone on my second-generation iPod but I do not see iCloud under settings. I see that I have the Find iPhone app on my iPod but when I open Find iPhone on my computer or on my iPad, the listing of devices does not include the iPod. It just says All Devices, iPad, Computer.
Under Settings/General/About it says Version 4.2.1 (8C148). Is that the version of the iPod itself or the version of the IOS?
It seems strange that I have Find iPhone on the iPod but that the other devices are not picking it up.
Thanks.
Joyce

Can episodes of a show on DVD be copied or moved to an iPod so they can be
watched while traveling and the DVD can be returned to the library? If so,
anyone have a procedure I can follow?
Thanks,
Don

It could be possible, but is most definitely illegal to do.

The DVD would need to be ripped and the file would need to be converted into an mpeg-4 file format. iTunes will only read video files in that format.

It may not be illegal if you own the DVD.
Procedure would need a windows computer.
