PaigeeWorld 1.3 the newest iOS application developed by PaigeeDraw Inc., is the brainchild of PaigeeDraw's 18 year-old, Paige Rohrick. PaigeeWorld has seen tremendous growth since its formal release in December 2012, with usage growing by 25% every month since release. In June 2013 application sessions exceeded 4 million total, with June on track for over 1 million sessions alone. This is a Social Media application for Artists to meet, learn and share their art with followers, fans and friends.
Vancouver, Canada - PaigeeWorld 1.3 is the newest iOS application developed by PaigeeDraw Inc., and brainchild of PaigeeDraw's own 18yo Paige Rohrick. PaigeeWorld has seen tremendous growth since its formal release in December 2012, with usage growing by 25% every month since release. This month Paige released the first chapter of her new Manga "Nyan Box" on PaigeeWorld. Paige's new manga is only available via the PaigeeWorld application. "Nyan Box" tells the story of how all of the main characters of PaigeeWorld met.
What is PaigeeWorld?
PaigeeWorld is an iOS Social Media application for Artists to meet, learn and share. Artists use PaigeeWorld to submit their art to their followers/fans/friends. 10's, 100's, or 1000's of members can potentially comment and like the drawings submitted. Some individual members have over 20,000 unique followers. When an artist submits a new drawing, it immediately is posted to all of their followers walls, as well as the "Recent Feed", where everyone can see it. Almost immediately after art is submitted, hundreds and possibly thousands of people see it, and can instantly start interacting with the drawing. This type of interface/environment is unique to PaigeeWorld.
PaigeeWorld has over 500 drawing tutorials for different styles and techniques(related to Manga/Anime and Cartooning) created by young artists from around the world. Tutorials are included for traditional and digital drawing. Traditional drawing tutorials are also available for markers, pencils, crayons and watercolors.
PaigeeWorld sponsors contests and prizes for the community. Almost every month PaigeeWorld has a new contest to inspire and encourage members to start creating. In June, PaigeeWorld is hosting the "Nyan Summer Dreams" contest - users are encouraged to create a drawing entry featuring PaigeeWorld's favorite character Nyan, and her Summer Dream. Prizes for this contest include a 36 Piece Marker Set from Marvy Uchida.
