Re: Question on Mail Filters - Rule not working consistently

Hi Tod,

Not aware of the "Stop Evaluating Rules" criterion - where is this located? The Junk rules is already at the top of the list. I think there must be something in these particular Junk mail that is evading the rule. For the time being, I have set up a rule that automatically deletes all e-mail with content including: "Costa Azul, Santo Domingo" This seemed to be a common identifier and it was listed as address to unsubscribe.

It's in the Rules pane at the bottom where it says, "Perform the following actions." Under that menu, the last item is, "Stop evaluating rules."

Not all rules move the email, and not all rules perform an action that would otherwise "stop eval", so there is still a need for a "stop eval" action.

"Stop Evaluating Rules" is not a criterion, but an action in the left pull down menu under "Perform the following actions".

There is no default rule, you start with no rules.

In looking at the messages that are getting by the rule the only pattern I see is that the message have no content, they seem to be purely an image and other message that arrive at the same time from the same e-mail address are routed to the junk folder.

In every OS I've had, it always came with a default rule to highlight messages from Apple.

Re: Intuos2 Model: XD-0608-U Tablet

A new stylus did not work, nor pulling and reseating the old stylus. The new pen came today. Wacom was correct, the pens I had were all bad. Immediately upon touching the new pen to the tablet it worked. In system preferences I immediately saw the pen recognized. Very strange how a pen goes bad after not ever being used in it's box.

I took the old pens apart. Could not tell what wears out and what doesn't. I don't think there is a battery is there? jr

Save as or save a version

I'm doing a large job using Adobe CS and TexT Docs. How in the devil, when I make additional changes can I save the new copy and CHOOSE where I want to put it. I keeping getting this darn Save a Version. Okay I can deal with that but it's not letting me put it where I want. Then I have to go on a hunt for the second version. Grrrr. This is really slowing me down.

No, I didn't know I could. Will that give me the Save As feature again? That would be a blessing.
Oh, to have that again and whole I'm wishing I want DARK scroll bars back. They are so pale they are hard to see and harder to grab with the mouse.

M0100 mouse help needed

Posted by: "michael kaplan" view@att.net   mkaplan22

Fri Feb 24, 2012 7:35 pm (PST)

Does anyone know how to disassemble the original Macintosh M0100
mouse? Mine scrolls vertically but not horizontally. I removed the
back plate, cleaned the ball and rollers, but the horizontal roller
doesn't function. I removed the Phillips screw but that doesn't enable
disassmbly. Is there another screw under the serial number sticker? TIA.

I have an iPhone 4S and a MacBook Pro running 10.6.8. I'm looking for a password synching app that does NOT require OS 10.7. Can anybody recommend one?

Thanks,

Re: OS X Mountain Lion to be download-only, USB stick going the way

Let see; if my download allowance of 450MB daily it will only take me 10 days to download. That is if I don't go over my daily allowance. If I go over and my ISP throttle me down I guess it take a few months. Or I could drive 200 miles or so, if we still have auto fuel available.
