Version 3.1.6 introduces a new icon and some minor improvements and interface revisions.

Milan, Italy - MaBaSoft today is pleased to announce the release of Currency Assistant 3.1.6, the latest version of their currency converter for Mac OS X. Currency Assistant allows users to easily calculate conversions between 174 world currencies (all major circulating currencies plus the 17 Eurozone legacy currencies) and updates exchange rates automatically over the Internet.

Currency Assistant is a very flexible currency converter: users can define multiple conversion windows which can contain up to 24 currencies. Converters are very easy to set up or edit and have an Action pop-up menu to quickly accomplish recurrent tasks, a Rate pop-up menu to view and copy exchange rates, and a tape in a drawer to log results.

With Currency Assistant users can quickly calculate conversions to multiple currencies and automatically convert the result of expressions. In addition to that, multiple amounts can be copied from a spreadsheet or another application and pasted to the desired input display: Currency Assistant will automatically convert the pasted amounts and log results in the tape. Finally, Currency Assistant can import text files, Word documents, and text clippings containing series of amounts and automatically convert the enclosed values.

Working with results is also very easy. Amounts can be copied from a display or from the tape, conversions can be exported by dragging them from the tape to a document in another application, and the tape can be saved to a RTF or plain text file and printed. Moreover, configurable Copy Special commands allow users to copy results including ISO code, currency name, or symbol and quickly copy frequently used text snippets containing conversion results, ISO codes, currency names, and symbols.

Managing currencies is simple and straightforward with Currency Assistant. The fully revised Currencies window allows users to quickly search, sort, edit, batch edit, and restore currencies, set a base currency, and automatically update exchange rates. Currency Assistant uses the rates published by the European Central Bank, the Bank of Canada, the International Monetary Fund, and the Bank of Italy to automatically update exchange rates over the Internet.

Version 3.1.6 introduces a new icon and some minor improvements and interface revisions.

The player makes vertical chains of 3 or more same-coloured bugs. Tapping a bug rotates those around it clockwise, so bugs can be moved around the board and positioned into chains of between 3 and 8 bugs. Then when the chain is tapped points and additional time are awarded.

Bugly is a colourful and fast-paced puzzle game in which bugs are moved around a seven column playing board with the aim of forming chains of bugs of the same colour. At the start of the game 8 bugs drop into each of the 7 columns and a 30 second timer starts ticking down. The aim of Bugly is to score points by playing for as long as possible. The player can only put additional seconds on the timer by forming and tapping chains of 3 or more bugs of the same colour. Each chain formed and tapped adds between 5 and 30 seconds to the timer depending on the length of the chain. And points are added to the score.

As the game progresses additional colours will start to appear and the maximum time allowed on the timer will reduce. Surviving when you only have a maximum 15 seconds take real skill in spotting potential chains and knowing which bugs to tap to move those around it into place!

Making a chain of 3 black bugs will flush the board, giving the player a completely fresh set of bugs which may help them find new chains, or not! Flushing should be used wisely since five seconds are deducted from the timer and it can't be used when the timer is in the red where less than 10 seconds remain.
