I miss MacDraw. Looking for a similar program to do simple line
drawings. Do not need a paint program. Using OS 10.7.5.

Do not need to open old MacDraw files, just make new ones.

Recommendations appreciated. Open source & free would be bonuses.

Take a look at Paintbrush-
http://paintbrush.sourceforge.net/
It is simple and free and might do what you need.

For iPad 2, as others have said, check Amazon. I knew I wanted one with a swivel and they have plenty. I also got the non-glare screen protector, which lets me read outside.

MonoPrice has some iPad cases. This is the one I have and like. http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=108&cp_id=11212&cs_id=1084902&p_id=9250&seq=1&format=2

In my OS X 10.7.5 Character Viewer I get the UTF-8 and Unicode numbers in the upper right corner of the Character Viewer window, just below the image and name of the chosen character. In the low ASCII range these numbers are identical to those of the now defunct ASCII system. Choosing "Unicode" from the list of categories shows the character at its place in the Unicode table.
Since Apple introduced this utility I never looked back to the various applications that I used earlier.

I thought about this post last night. My husband was putting our iPad 2 into it's protective case and somehow cracked the glass and then cut his hand by feeling the depth of the crack.
Now we have to figure out where to get it fixed. I've briefly read online that replacing the glass is almost as much as buying a new iPad.

I keep my old Mac G5 DT just for Freehand. It's far superior to Illustrator.
