The improved weather forecasting feature in Awesome Calendar provides forecasting for the upcoming five days. Besides daily temperate highs and lows, it will also provide information on wind, humidity, visible distance, sunset time, sunrise time, and atmospheric pressure.
The newest version of Awesome Calendar includes a "Full Week" view to get a big picture view of the week ahead - but also provides a unique way of taking a look backward. What happened exactly one year ago? Or two, three, four or five years ago? The "Paid" version of Awesome Calendar now lets users view events that occurred on that date for up to five years in the past enabling users to recognize benchmarks and important events along their life's journey.
Even with an entirely digital calendar always with them, many users enjoy having a printed calendar they can post on a bulletin board, next to their desk, or on their family refrigerator. With its new integration with AirPrint, Awesome Calendar users can print an entire month so they can get a quick glance of upcoming events and have a printed history of what they have already done.
More than just a calendar to keep you users on-time and on-schedule, Awesome Calendar also helps users organize their photo collections. Now users can view their photos in chronological order, but have no idea when exactly those pictures were taken. Awesome Calendar integrates with the iPhone's Photos app to provide a special calendar view which sorts photos and rearranges them to the calendar date the photos were taken. Events for that date are displayed to the right of the calendar so users can be reminded at which events the photos were taken.

Remoter Labs today announces Remoter 1.2.0 for OS X, an update to their productivity app that allows users to remotely control Macs via Screen Sharing, and Windows or Linux PCs using the VNC or RDP standards. Remoter offers one of the fastest implementations of the VNC and RDP protocols on the Mac platform. The app uses Bonjour to make setup a cinch. Sound redirection, RDP, Telnet and SSH which also allows for secure VNC/RDP over SSH, are included.
Cary, North Carolina - Remoter Labs today is proud to announce the release of Remoter1.2.0 for OS X Snow Leopard, Lion and Mountain Lion, an update to their productivity app that enables users to remotely control Macs via Screen Sharing, and Windows or Linux computers using the VNC or RDP. The app uses Bonjour and NetBIOS to make setup a cinch. Sound redirection and easy setup, RDP, Telnet and SSH support are included.
The app offers one of the fastest implementations of the VNC and RDP protocols on the Mac platform. Operation is intuitive, with a well thought out interface.
When connecting to other Macs or Windows, setup is ultra-simple with the free RemoterFusion helper app. Port-forwarding and/or dynamic DNS is not needed in order to establish connections from outside the computer's network. This app also provides sound redirection, which allows listening to music tracks, or any sound playing remotely on the computer.
Otherwise, local session set-up is still simple, all the computers from the WiFi network are found using both the Bonjour and NetBIOS standards. The user then clicks on the desired connection, and all queried information such as computer name, IP address, service port, and more auto-populates the set-up screen. The user then only needs to enter the VNC password to complete setup. A button labeled "Advanced" reveals many useful advanced options, like color depth, server scaling setting, compression level and more.
RDP is also included, allowing connections to most Windows computers that include an RDP server (Remote Desktop Protocol). This allows connecting to these machines without having to install a server, as is the case with VNC.
The app also allows users to establish secure, SSH-tunneled, VNC or RDP connections to their computers. SSH support also gives users the ability of establishing terminal connections to any SSH server. Featuring full terminal control, including special keys such as Control, Alt, F1-F14. Terminal support implements font foreground and background color, a terminal buffer, and clicking. SSH authentication includes both passwords and private/public key support. A fully featured SSH Key manager allows users to create SSH keys using RSA or DSA. Passphrases can also be set, and independent SSH keys can be used for each SSH session.
The SSH feature also gives users the ability of create up to five TCP tunnels per connection. The tunnels can then be accessed while the app is in the background by any other app. Providing a VPN-like connection to the SSH server.
Telnet enables users to connect to server computers using the Telnet protocol. Like with SSH, the app provides full color support, a terminal buffer, and special keys.
Both the SSH and Telnet features allow for selection of text which is then synchronized with the system's pasteboard, and can then be pasted within the application, or into any other app.
The app features a beautiful connection selection interface. Servers can be sorted by name, type or usage, and, buttons allow easy access to only VNC, RDP, SSH or Telnet machines. A search box also allows to easily find the desired server.
Wake-on-LAN support is also built-in, when the server session is setup using Bonjour or NetBIOS, the MAC address is automatically populated. Otherwise the field is provided to allow the user to populate it manually. Wake-on-LAN can then be sent either from the main screen of the app, or via the session selection screen.
Macros can also be created and run. Macro support is included for VNC, RDP, SSH and Telnet sessions, and a Macros manager allows for renaming and deleting of existing macros.
The app is extremely configurable, and even includes an app-wide PIN security system to prevent unauthorized use.
Lion's full-screen support is also provided.

Cary, North Carolina - Remoter Labs today is proud to announce the release of Remoter1.2.0 for OS X Snow Leopard, Lion and Mountain Lion, an update to their productivity app that enables users to remotely control Macs via Screen Sharing, and Windows or Linux computers using the VNC or RDP. The app uses Bonjour and NetBIOS to make setup a cinch. Sound redirection and easy setup, RDP, Telnet and SSH support are included.
The app offers one of the fastest implementations of the VNC and RDP protocols on the Mac platform. Operation is intuitive, with a well thought out interface.
When connecting to other Macs or Windows, setup is ultra-simple with the free RemoterFusion helper app. Port-forwarding and/or dynamic DNS is not needed in order to establish connections from outside the computer's network. This app also provides sound redirection, which allows listening to music tracks, or any sound playing remotely on the computer.
Otherwise, local session set-up is still simple, all the computers from the WiFi network are found using both the Bonjour and NetBIOS standards. The user then clicks on the desired connection, and all queried information such as computer name, IP address, service port, and more auto-populates the set-up screen. The user then only needs to enter the VNC password to complete setup. A button labeled "Advanced" reveals many useful advanced options, like color depth, server scaling setting, compression level and more.
RDP is also included, allowing connections to most Windows computers that include an RDP server (Remote Desktop Protocol). This allows connecting to these machines without having to install a server, as is the case with VNC.
The app also allows users to establish secure, SSH-tunneled, VNC or RDP connections to their computers. SSH support also gives users the ability of establishing terminal connections to any SSH server. Featuring full terminal control, including special keys such as Control, Alt, F1-F14. Terminal support implements font foreground and background color, a terminal buffer, and clicking. SSH authentication includes both passwords and private/public key support. A fully featured SSH Key manager allows users to create SSH keys using RSA or DSA. Passphrases can also be set, and independent SSH keys can be used for each SSH session.
The SSH feature also gives users the ability of create up to five TCP tunnels per connection. The tunnels can then be accessed while the app is in the background by any other app. Providing a VPN-like connection to the SSH server.
Telnet enables users to connect to server computers using the Telnet protocol. Like with SSH, the app provides full color support, a terminal buffer, and special keys.
Both the SSH and Telnet features allow for selection of text which is then synchronized with the system's pasteboard, and can then be pasted within the application, or into any other app.
The app features a beautiful connection selection interface. Servers can be sorted by name, type or usage, and, buttons allow easy access to only VNC, RDP, SSH or Telnet machines. A search box also allows to easily find the desired server.
Wake-on-LAN support is also built-in, when the server session is setup using Bonjour or NetBIOS, the MAC address is automatically populated. Otherwise the field is provided to allow the user to populate it manually. Wake-on-LAN can then be sent either from the main screen of the app, or via the session selection screen.
Macros can also be created and run. Macro support is included for VNC, RDP, SSH and Telnet sessions, and a Macros manager allows for renaming and deleting of existing macros.
The app is extremely configurable, and even includes an app-wide PIN security system to prevent unauthorized use.
Lion's full-screen support is also provided.

Lithuanian Artist Publishes Award-Winning Children's Book on iTunes - Published on 10/09/12

"Doll" opens as a little girl, whose eyes are a bit sad and who struggles to choose a name for herself, is sent to stay in a village with her grandmother. She starts exploring the rural surroundings and discovers an attic full of dust and long-forgotten things, including a doll's head and more.
Vilnius, Lithuania - Lithuanian artist Nomeda Marcenaite has written and illustrated "Doll," a beautiful children's story about the pursuit of one's identity and individuality, which is now available on iTunes. At 40 pages, the title is a swift read and includes striking color illustrations viewable on the iPad.
"When reading books by other authors, I feel invited into the world of the writer, where I am welcome to stay for a while, to wander and fantasize with the author. It is an adventure, which allows living more than one life," explains Marcenaite. "In writing and illustrating 'Doll,' I felt as if I were creating a new world - or maybe I was also created - and experienced a miracle." The ebook format allowed the author to bridge distance and cultural gaps and offer this cozy, universal tale to English-speaking young readers and numerous Lithuanian diasporas all over the world.

"It took me long to find a way to avoid banality, to make them real and organic, and to instill the authentic country spirit into the book." These efforts paid off, and the book has since received multiple awards, including two diplomas from the International Board of Books for Young People.

Lithuanian artist Nomeda Marcenaite has written and illustrated "Doll," a beautiful children's story about the pursuit of one's identity and individuality, which is now available on iTunes. "Doll" opens as a little girl, whose eyes are a bit sad and who struggles to choose a name for herself, is sent to stay in a village with her grandmother. She starts exploring the rural surroundings and discovers an attic full of dust and long-forgotten things, including a doll's head and more.
Vilnius, Lithuania - Lithuanian artist Nomeda Marcenaite has written and illustrated "Doll," a beautiful children's story about the pursuit of one's identity and individuality, which is now available on iTunes. At 40 pages, the title is a swift read and includes striking color illustrations viewable on the iPad.
"When reading books by other authors, I feel invited into the world of the writer, where I am welcome to stay for a while, to wander and fantasize with the author. It is an adventure, which allows living more than one life," explains Marcenaite. "In writing and illustrating 'Doll,' I felt as if I were creating a new world - or maybe I was also created - and experienced a miracle." The ebook format allowed the author to bridge distance and cultural gaps and offer this cozy, universal tale to English-speaking young readers and numerous Lithuanian diasporas all over the world.

You are now going to face legions of monsters, as well as experience novel gameplays.
Brand new monsters:
The company devoted a great amount of time and efforts to improve graphic in many details to bring better visual effects. Especially on monster design, not only the shape and actions are adjusted, but also many new designed monsters are added into the game. Now different personalities of monsters can be found through their actions when they are attacking or attacked. Previously, we had some misunderstanding with Torchlight, and now it is solved perfectly. We should give our thanks to Mr. Travis Baldree, whose suggestions helped us a lot in our optimization.
New gameplays added - We added two new gameplays to the game:
I. Tower of Watchmen:
The Twilight Gap is occupied by the darkness.700 years ago, demon invaded the land through this passage, and retreated by the same way. The bright king built a tower over it to guard the gap, which is called 'Tower of Watchmen'. Now, the followers of the demon come back. They are looking for legacy of their master. The way to destroy throne will be opened again unless someone stop them.
Gameplay:
You should build towers to kill approaching monsters. The points you earn by killing them are used to build or upgrade towers. There are many different types of towers available to choose, but each player can build just one type each time, so you should try to cooperate with your mates.
II. War of Ice and Fire:
The history of 'Archon' can be traced back to ancient age. The gods fight against each other for the power of creation. They turned the elements in their blood into the warriors, which are the first generation of Archon. Now, the flame Archon and freeze Archon have been delivered into this world accidentally, whose life is for eternal target of turning everything into pure element, but they are on the opposite way. You must lead one of those armies to win, and then decide the future of this world. Will you sacrifice the world to blame, or turn it into frozen wilderness?
Gameplay:
You should keep wiping out the enemy's army and towers under your allies' cover. Also, you must protect your base from destroying. The defense tower can cause a high damage. So do not try to destroy it by yourself. You should collect elemental essence to exchange rewards at the assembly headquarter, which will help you a lot in battle. A price book is a means to track changes in the price and size of products you frequently buy so you can save money by 1) identifying sale patterns and seasonal shifts in pricing, 2) calculating and comparing unit pricing, and 3) determining the lowest price at which to buy a product.
ValueTracker makes it easy and convenient to maintain a price book. Simply create a list of stores where you shop. For each store create a list of products you frequently buy. Include the product name, size, price, purchase date, and an optional photo. Update the price and size of a product whenever either changes. These updates are kept in a chronological list so you can determine sale patterns and save money by only buying at the lowest price. The app is a low cost investment for potentially big grocery savings.
Beyond these basic price book features, ValueTracker includes a Unit Pricing Comparison Calculator so you can compute and compare the unit prices of up to four products at a time. There is a Search feature so you can compare the price of a product between all the stores where you have listed it. And all store, product, and pricing information can be exported in a printable format so you have a backup of your data in case of device damage or loss.
