Just search Amazon (or similar) for a US-UK mains adaptor.

I restored my first generation iPhone to factory conditions. It's an AT&T phone. I want to have it unlocked so my friend can use it when he goes to visit his family in Brazil.I guess they need to put a new SIMM in it. Do I just take it to AT&T? I don't have an AT&T account on it since I had all that transferred to my latest phone.

i did mention this earlier. 16 GBs.
and it is a 27" iMac (2010).
see what bugs me is that it wasn't there a week ago. i went from about 70 gigs of free space to 50 something.
some of that was other things. and i got rid of my movies, and other stuff my internal 1TB drive can handle.

Products without an external antenna port, or equivalent, will require that you boost your wi-fi signal at the source, or use a repeater.

Hello Daly,
There is a "General" preference that allows me to change my email "reader" from "Mail App" to something else. But I don't know how to choose Yahoo mail because I don't think there is actually an App for Yahoo mail. If there is I don't know where to look for it. There isn't one in my applications folder that I can find, and doing a search of my hard drive gave no results.
Of course there is the strong possibility that I don't know where to look for a Yahoo Mail App!
Under "Composing" in the Mail App Preferences, I did choose my Yahoo email account information. Perhaps that will be part of the solution? I'll give it a try and see if that works.
Thanks so much for the help!

i talk to a senior advisor at apple. she walked me through it the terminal commands. she said it ought to no more than 2 GBs, and to call
back if it got bigger. that doesn't sound like it is just supposed to be that way. plus, it is new. i know exactly how much space was taken
up, after all, it is a 120 GB SSD. i have been real careful about what i put on it.
i don't recommend playing with it either. but, i had apple do it for me. to no avail. so far.
thanks for the input, tho.

i got the white and silver iPhone 5. i had a struggle for several days with AT&T.
i think i did mention it, now.
any way, things are fine, now. i am glad that i can have data and a phone conversation going at the same time.
if i didn't say that quite right, you know what i mean.
but, i have a question. what is not up to speed with apple maps?
i took it for a test ride yesterday, to get a mission where there are a lot of different type of birds (i got a 400mm Canon L lens, without
image stabilization, but sharp from edge to edge, and got a optektic (sp) gimbal head). of course, i took a wrong turn, but maps guided
me to a path to walk to the place. but i can't walk very far any more.
so, what gives?
thanks,
doug
